Good idea - WoW servers don't need 1 hour+ downtime every day, and this is the competition CCP are facing... -=^=-

It appears that a blade center network switch couldn't reset itself, which caused a problem and eventually lead to a domino effect and eventually we lost almost all nodes. We're looking into what caused this, but it is not a database issue.
Tranquility is now starting up with all nodes working, by the time you read this Tranquility will be open for business.

How about they charge for every new content, like revelations too? New ships, take out time from account! New t3? Out with the account time!! Everytime server is up early, more time out of the account.
Hey, let's be fair now.
WoW servers arn't down for one hour a day, no, they are down for several hours at one time. And they crash all the same. And they can get full.
So yeah, i have a problem with being serious, but it's the almost smallest problem i have. |

Edited by: Allan Robertson on 14/08/2007 15:39:43 I really have to say but my interest in EVE crashes more than the server, I've 4 accounts but only 1 is active at any given time with gaps of more than 3 months or more, EVE is still kinda fun but it's a bore after 4 years sadly :(

I asked them to crash the server deliberately just so you could join in on the whining but they just laughed and said they'd talk to my boss about me. I'm sure it's cause they want to tell him how bright my ideas are.

yea because people not being able to play something they pay a subscription for isn't worth complaining about, and if they do complain (which they shouldn't, they should just all stfu bend over and take it while paying for the pleasure) the people who are ment to be fixing it can mock them by calling them whiners.
let me close by saying

EVE has it's problems we all know that, but there is one good thing about EVE I find really cool, EVE is kinda cheep and with easy payment options, you can get GTC for ISK and play for free, or if your in the EU buy GTC for $$$ and avoid the taxes, only costs me about 7 pounds a month
