Just curious, how did you get the system to stop displaying the stars/other useless crap on your client in that vid?
so thats why RA/goonco come in lag-inducing numbers.. they've found a way to reduce lag on their own clients by nixing the background gfx! HAX!
(oh man, this should start some fireworks!)

every alliance has their problems. when you have people that will stick around through thick AND thin, never give up and always rebuild that which others try to take away.. well then you have a truly respectable band of folks.
ISS will always be great to those to whom that opinion matters the most. ourselves. afterall, the people we have may be less in number than what we once were, but i don't think we've ever been more cohesive and dedicated to each other and whatever cause we decide to go up against, pass or fail.
and furthermore, we don't blame each other when we fail. we pick up the pieces, help each other rebuild and figure out where we went wrong so we can try again. now whats wrong with that? i rarely saw that as a whole with the way we were.
Count has been instrumental in including us in the direction of the alliance and we all had no problems putting him into that ship just as he had no problems taking it into battle, where it belonged. (Plus he is always there for ops )
That being said, Count loses capitals so we don't have to! (j/p Count)

My corp and I stuck around through the thick AND thin, mostly were involved in the thin.
The thin was the part where everyone blew us up in every region we went to after having kicked our sorry asses out of our home systems, we had high level's making plans for a coup, we had management ratting in one system while their brothers bled for them in the systems next door (note, there was some type of special arrangement to not attack this person btw), we had poor decisions in where the alliance should end up even though many of the ceo's said that it was a bad idea, we had promises that were never kept by management (this was finally admitted to me by management even though they tried to deny it profusely multiple times), we had people who would log out when enemies came around instead of trying to help defend, we had half the alliance leave during the "thin" times and then be welcomed back as if nothing happened once we were settled in a nice, rich area, we had a delay on removing a cancer in management because of some deal that did not benefit the alliance in the long run.
I could go on for a while with this. I really like(d) Count and some other management however, there were some serious issues in that alliance.
I can feel good about one thing though, my corp and I stuck through the thin and left after ISS had a bit of a rebound not when it needed our help the most. I also feel good that I personally did as much as I could do for many different ones in ISS, even management even when some of the leadership was failing to practice what they preached or were being two faced traitorous liars, I'm sure we know who that was :) -----------------

From experience, I'm going to guess that all the MS smartbombs killed his heavies :/
Also, afaik, the last weapon that hit shows up on killmails. Given the ROF on capital guns, it's often the drones that end up on the killmail.

With the size of Drone bay on the Moros & the bonus to drone damage one would hope he would have at least 1 set of sentries in there.
I had my ship & drones well within 5km of the Wyvern & didn't take smartbomb damage, so either they weren't fitted or he didn't have the cap left to use them however I jumped in mid-battle & therefore may have missed the Wyvern smartbombing.
There was a huge mass of drones swarmed on it when we were killing it & I didn't see that swarm thin out at all during the "battle". --- Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!

No, it was a shield and armor tank. Quite speshal.
From what I've seen of the Wyvern fit it wasnt that bad. Sure, it wasnt pimped, but it was okay.
Count is very good at bringing people together for a common goal. He has vision, and is a pretty radical thinker in respect of how to get the most out of this game. He is also charismatic, for the most part, and a nice guy to talk to. He actually does make quite a good alliance leader.
However, what he is not, is a gifted PvPer. And I think accepting your weaknesses is perhaps something he needs to bear in mind before frontlining another capital ship or FCing.

there is a very ancient thread on the goonfleet fittings forum from before remedial got his carrier where he advocates a shield tank on a thanatos with shield power relays and invulns (if I remember correctly)
it might be archived by now, you'd have to get an admin to retrieve it |

This would require ISS to have had something to do with getting that Nyx kill other then being in system.
As much as I dislike IAC, this does make me smile.
You obviously dont know anything about what happened the night that Nyx died. ISS were the first to engage that Nyx and the only reason it was killed was because of ISS interdiction spheres and ISS bumping.
I know because I was there.
