Not gonna happen. When ccp intends to change ships they dont make a new ship on sisi but rather change the current one. Anything else is just devs messing around.

With the Nos bonus and the drone bonus AND 5 missile hp it is the mother and father of all nosboats. Now if the drone bonus is dropped in exchange for the old cap bonus back or a nos range bonus it may be a little more balanced... a little. ------------------------ I don't believe in sigs.

Get rid of the nos/neut bonnie though, it needs to be a gunship, its in keeping with the decription of The Apoc. Perhaps a Tracking bonus so it can hit at point blank range. Seriously be nice to have a its turrets in tack. Really dislike having to abandon my skills in lasers to something like Nos which takes a couple days to train for. But a laser bonus essentially requires a cap reduction for lasers, and as battleships traditionally have two bonuses, that'd be the end of it. The way I see it, with a 7/5/6 layout you're going to have no problems with capacitor, and a bonus to energy neutralizers, nosferatu, and cap amount would give it an actual role, as opposed to being just another vanilla Amarr laser boat. Hopefully the cap reserves and the capability to, say, fit a dual injector tank would encourage people to use cap heavy lasers even without a cap reduction. There's really nothing you can do about people avoiding lasers without addressing the issues with the weapons themselves, and that's quite a lengthy subject by itself.

We shouldn't get overpowered ships like this in the first place. Nos was a T2 class bonus, if they do this to the apoc I 100% expect a point range bonus to my domi, or +30% jam strength on the scorp. I also wouldn't mind web range on the phoon tbh. I agree that this was probably just a dev seeing if his crazy idea wouldn't be exactly what they needed, and he probably found out it was way overpowered. That said, Amarr isn't point blank gank like Gallente is. The nos is nice for the ship, but next to everything else it'll rip through fights like the original nos domi (with more grid AND less mass on top of it). I wouldn't mind seeing it get a web effectiveness bonus instead of a tracking bonus. With so many mids it'd be nice, possibly another mid. But it isn't very Amarr. I fully expect a tracking disruptor bonus instead though, and if that happens all people will do is cry that it's a wannabe dominix. The vaga, on the other hand, HELL NO. If CCP wants to nerf its damage they should remove the damage bonus on the HAS skill. But DON'T remove that turret! It's way too sexy with 10 turret models on it, it's half the reason I'm training for one!
