Rupture vs Stabber question

So my question is: Why is the Stabber 33mil while the Rupture is only like 6mil? Comparing each of their stats the Rupture wins in every category. So why is this?

Btw you can check price history on items in the market, so you know if you are paying an exhorbitant price for it or not. --- -The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs

It's t2 variant is going well atm, so buying those to build the t2 variant. AND, the speed of a stabber. A rupture is nice. But a stabber will beat it in PvP because of the speed the stabber can have, and speedtank about everything.

Also, how does speed make you better at pvp when the Rupture can take more damage?

On a high skilled character the stabber is mucho faster then the rupture (specially when using an AB or MWD since they have less mass). Also for PvP in .0 it's very important that you can engage who you want and not the other way around. Faster ships mean you can disengage en run properly and outrunning for example turret tracking and missles. For a starting player the rupture is better for PvP on all fronts though (well it only has 3 meds so it isn't perfect but hey you can't have it all). --- -The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs

So with navigation 4 a rupture would go 2001.2=240 m/s. What you did do wrong was comparing a rupture with skill adjustment versus a stabber without skill adjustment. A stabber with minmatar cruiser 4 and navigation 4 has a speed of 2351.2*1.2=338 m/s (the reason it has a second 1.2 modifier is because of the stabber ship bonus of 5% velocity per level of minmatar cruiser). But still I would suggest taking the rupture to start with, the stabber has its uses but the rupture is far more usefull overall. --- -The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs

I wouldnt even try to PVP with a stabber though as 9 times out of 10 there is a very experienced pilot at the controls.
