The "eve is uniqe" wont work on this one mate. Adolf ******* ****** was also unique. No precedent?! We at CCP run a large server farm..... it crashes a lot. Like there aint any other company in the world that runs a large server farm?!?!?!
We have at least a crash a week these days. Now I dont give a two penny **** about unforseen bugs in hard/soft ware upgrades: this is an unacceptable level of unplayability, while main issues, which have been flagged by the community and CCP itself (Lag, ISK sellers, desynch ETC.) run rampant as well as unchecked.
Everyone knows they dont do it on purpose but you have to agree that this is becoming completely laughable. What next?

Why? It was their choice to use Microsoft products and they have to assume responsibility for that choice. We use Linux for our server stuff and yes, we have problems sometimes (kernel bugs on new hardware or even broken hardware), but we always know who to blame and what's wrong and - this is where I agree with you - since we work with small companies (hardware suppliers etc.) we always get a decent service.

Also.. we run our critical stuff (free time) on a product sold by a corporation that considers us customers worthy of the 'ZOMG something blew up in serverland' reply. Suing MS wont do CCP any good: half of the lawyers in the USA work for Microsoft.
Remember the guy that sued MS for the name microsoft? all he got was a letter:
"Dear sir...
we have recieved your letter and would like to remind you that we have a legal department exceeding 3$ billion a year. We could wrap you up in a legal ball of rubber bands for ten years and then take your house, children and car. Not to mention that we will reposess your wife and sell her to the salt mines on Centauri Prime. However because we pity the poor mortals that shovel muck around this pityful blue globe, there is a check enclosed in this letter for $10K. We suggest you take it and **** off.
