Ragnar÷k ("fate of the gods") is the battle at the end of the world. Not only will most of the gods, giants and creatures involved perish in this apocalyptic conflagration, but almost everything in the universe will be torn asunder. In Norse mythology, the Gjallarhorn ("ringing horn") is the horn with which the gatekeeper god, Heimdallr, announces Ragnar÷k. Ragnarok Titan confirmed. Name is "Armageddon Dawn". First DD in 49-U6U claimed 119 mails including 33 BS, 21 HACs & 11 'dictors Thulsa sends his regards. Wrecks From what we can tell, AAA fleet jumped in and warped to cover the IAC fleet jumping in. Our titan managed to warp in right as both fleets were on the gate. MC - Silence in this thread. - THIS FLEET FOR RENT!

Local in 49- was showing 200 (150+reds 50+/- blues). Intel did not show any active Titan pilots in 49-. MCFixiss forces are camping the 4-0 gate in 49- with a large bubble and at least 50 mixed heavy support and tacklers. IAC moves into position on 49- gate in 4-0. -A- inquires about IAC strength and a final Titan check is done in 49-. -A- gang size: 120 MCFixiss forces have at least 3 moms and many other capitals in system. IAC has 1 mom and a handful of carriers and dreads. -A- capital forces unknown 18:56 -A- force jump into 49- from 5v run the blockade on that gate and ûA- forces in 49- warp to the 4-0 gate to engage the gate camp there. 18:57 IAC Jumps into 49-. Gate activation delay keeps many pilots from entering system but slowly we are able to get pilots in. Local climbs to over 350. IAC forces engage hostiles at the gate and neutralize the large bubble. 19:01 MCFixiss forces warp off of the gate as local climbs to 402 then every IAC pilot and ûA- pilot on the gate grid lag out. A few pilots manage to load the next 30 seconds. IAC Pilot: æI think we just got DDÆdÆ FC(horror/surprise): æWTF? Whos the Titan pilot what ship type.Æ FC gives the order for all pilots able to do so to make it to a friendly POS. Over the next 5-10 min many of our pilots are stuck at the gate helpless due to a near node crash. A scout reports pods being destroyed and ships being engaged. Many who survived the DD die under fire without activating any mods. Many more Never even load system only to load 25s or FAT. The losses on the IAC side: 56. Losses on -A- side: unknown but assumed to be nearly the same. The node struggles not to crash but many pilots are booted. Our gang structure is completely shredded with almost every SC and WC being booted. We are forced to have all pilots leave gang due to BOSS/FC being frozen/glitched. 19:30 Things start settling down and we manage to reorganize the gang. We now have 82 in gang. Many pilots give up logging on due to lag and say goodnight to EVE. -A- and IAC combined have about 170 now to the MCFixiss 230 ish. Reports start coming in that Outbreak a æNeutralÆ pirate force are sending 22 Snipers (megas and tempests to help support MC via harassment in the FAT area.) Im starting to think Outbreak are just about as neutral as BOB or FIX. During this time the Remaining IAAAC forces in 49- begin hit and fade tactics which according to our kill boards are mildly successful 21kills to 21 losses not counting pods. -A- kills/losses are unknown. 21:45 -A- calls it a night and IAC forces regroup and hunker down for a long night. Total tally on the evening: 77+ IAC ships destroyed. Personally I donÆt know if lag was a deciding factor with the DD. I do know that we suffered severe losses after the DD due to pilots unable to do anything but sit there and die. We easily lost over 25-30 ships due to lag after the DD, and we lost another 30+ min to reorganize after our gang was gutted by disconnects and more lag. After all the lag crap. I tip my hats to the MCFixiss folks for their spirited fight this evening, we had some fun inty/cruiser fights which were actually pretty smooth lag free events. Thundirr out.

Had to replace my underpants when the pos-grid finally loaded.

I was one of the first to get the grid loaded from the people jumping in. There was no warning about even a possibility of Titan so we didnt fit extra tank or anything. After the grid kind of loaded everything was mega lagging. I appeared close to one edge of the large bubble so I started heading out of bubble, turned my Invulner field 2 on and mwd on. A moment after I activated those I saw the Ragnarok less then 200km off me in the direction I was moving. The first thought was, this cant be a Titan, then the next moment everything froze and I thought. Not again DD-d. Though to my surprise about 5 minutes later I was still there with about half structure damage and my shield started to regenerate a little. I was out of the bubble, so I just hit warp to the friendly pos bm and waited. Nothing happened for a few minutes. I thought it I might have still dies and its just lagging too much for me to see it. Then I saw myself in warp and stopped at a grid that was supposed to be our pos, but the grid did not load for another 10 minutes. I waited and wanted to relog when heard on vent that FC said "dont log, you wont get back in" to someone who voiced the question I was thinking. So I waited a little more and the grid finally loaded. then things started to settle and saw there were over 400 people in local. We had logistics people at the pos who kindly repped my structure and armor and by that time my shield had all grown back on its own. In my opinion the move with the DD on the gate was awesome tactical move and did exactly what it was planned to do. I do hope the next time we see this titan, we will be prepared for it and can try to take it down.

You can't dock a titan in a station, but you can still eject in your pod (or dock it in a capital hangar array I think) and let someone else board it. My name is Donges and I think it is great that more alliances are getting Titans now because titans are big and nice ships and they are very nice to look at and I also think it is very good for the economy because they must buy a lot of minerals and stuff to build this big ship and then prices of minerals go up so i can sell my minerals for more and stuff and become richer!!!!! I also really like looking at screenshots of big ships because they look very nice and it is very funny when they do their big boom attack and blow up ships because hehehe they are just like blowing up like little ships and stuff. This is just my two cents I just wanted to let you guys know how I feel about this whole matter because my opinion on this is important and I know you all want to know how I feel about this, isn't that right friends.
