last year, for an April Fool's joke, I invited the pilots of New Eden to make a total ass of themselves by entering a "best backside" contest. It swiftly became obvious that I was to be the butt of my own joke. the enthusiasm (and associated drama) with which this cheeky idea generated was overwhelming, and I soon found myself out of pocket to the tune of two naval cruisers.
And now here I am again, about to splash more cash on finding out who, among all of New Eden's Immortals, is the bearer of the best behind.
So: I present to you, ladies and gentlefolk, the second annual
CAPSULEER REAR OF THE YEAR CONTEST
The rules are simple:
Between today and the 28th of February is the NOMINATION PHASE. During this time, pilots are invited to nominate one of their colleagues and friends (or enemies, if you like). Each pilot may nominate a single male and a single female contestant.
YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO NOMINATE YOURSELF.
otherwise, we'll get too many people trying to enter their own behinds.
To nominate somebody, simply capture an image of them from behind (how you go about acquiring such an image is entirely up to you, but the contest will accept no liability for legal expenses or criminal prosecutions brought on by your own actions) and post it right here in this thread. if you wish, you may second an existing nomination rather than nominating somebody new. Please ensure that the image is tasteful - at a minimum, the subject must be wearing a shirt plus pants or a skirt. No visible underwear allowed.
Once the nomination phase has ended, a shortlist will be assembled by our expert panel of judges, taking into account the number of times a nominee has been seconded. Armed with this shortlist, we will enter the VOTING PHASE which will last until the 31st of March. Our defending champions from last year - Jude Kopenhagen and Laria Raven - automatically enjoy a place on the shortlist.
As with last year, we will be using an "Alternative Vote" system to figure out which of the shortlisted entrants will claim the title, and whether the YC113 Rears of the Year will be unseated!
To the two winners will go their choice of naval cruiser, but there will also bee three bonus prizes of a navy-issue frigate.
The "Junk in the Trunk" prize awarded to the shortlistee who attracts the least votes.
The "I'll be in my bunk" prize for the nominee who attracts the most inappropriate and lascivious comment. This prize also comes with a bucket of ice cream, a box of tissues and a special edition holoreel copy of "Crystal Caille Queen".
The "DAAAAAAAAMN" prize will be awarded to the pilot who comes up with the wittiest description of a contestant's bottom. This prize is not restricted to contestants - anybody can win it!
The winners will be announced on April the 1st, and you have my solemn vow that when I post their identities, it won't be an April Fools' joke, but the truth.

Grow up.
You were disqualified the last time because you didn't follow the rules of the contest. Your colleague Crucifire was allowed to run and even placed fairly well as I recall, despite the fact that you share allegiances. I make no secret of the fact that I enjoyed being able to disqualify you, but the disqualification itself was fair.
You want to make it onto the shortlist? then read the rules this time, interpret them cautiously, keep an eye out for updates and get people to second your nomination. Assuming you can find somebody to nominate you in the first place.

You openly admitted to me that your reasons for disqualifying me last year were entirely personal. I found you idiotic then, and it seems that little has changed over the last year.
