Whilst engaged in a agent mission that required me to travel through a section of 0.0 sector space... I was approaching a gate when I was messaged by 1 member of the Arcadian Navy...
This is what was said..

I locked onto Ultrix Civus and her buddy who locked on to me the second I electronically engaged her ( Annatar) and fired a warning volley of missiles. They had a chance to escape as I didnt warp scramble them.
They decided to try take me on, so I desotroyed Annatars vessel and allowed Ultrix to escape. She limped off, only to return with her repaired ship and a compliment of cruise missiles which she began to fire at me.
I destroyed her ship.
I was then attacked by 8t88 in an Amarr BS and decided it was a good time to flee. Sufice to say i havent completed by mission now as I needed to go through a system which has been occupied by the hostile Arcadia Navy.
This group claims to be a non hostile corp but they are behaving like pirates. I would encourage anyone that encounters them to not listen to their threats and continue on your business as normal. If they lock you, destroy them.
If the Arcadia Navy wish to behave in this manner then I hope friendly corps will unambigiously declare war on them.

I would add that on further investigation it seems these individuals are unconnected to the arcadia corps that are official eve corps. They have simply added the tag 'arcadian navy' to their bios and are just assorted punks and badasses trying their luck...

I think they are indeed genuine arcadia members.
And I wouldnt call them pirates, in fact since they(and other alliances) started to patrol fd-mlj and surrounding systems its now a lot safer to travel there. The option is having c.o.w or Biomass Cartel, who comes to visit now and then, who dont warn you before they shoot you.
From your story it seems both you and the Arcadians could have been a bit more diplomatical.

Im sorry for not mentioning them, I did not mean to place the credit of their actions on others.  As I said several alliances have ships in the area for which I am thankful. CELES is one of the corps that keep it free of pirates and they have a lot of ships there but I see Arcadian ships help too even if theyre not as many. Im sorry if I dont remember the name of all the corps, memory is not my best attribute in rl so to speak Im afraid.
My point with the post was that I myself did not consider the arcadians pirates.

Dear Vargrh,
too bad that you did not mention that you have been warned several times but were not even willing to tell us why you want to enter our space. It is true that we have restricted the access to the area due to reasons explained in our official announcement. We have however made arrangements with some pilots since then if they had a good reason to pass, we were confident that they are neither spys nor do they have the intention to stay and the overall situation allowed us to do so.
Just trying to run for the gate or even open fire on us is however not the way to achieve such an agreement.
Concerning the cleaning FD and PF: Celestial and some others have in fact been doing a great job there recently and helped to make the area more secure. But as even they cannot be there 23/7, we and our allies still move in when they are not present.

And don't bother calling my scorp an 'Amarr BS' again.
But I admit, you didn't had much time for leaving.

Well you did take over 4 mins to respond to initial contact, so your behaviour in the mean time may have made this pilot over cautious...
mistakes can be made when that happens. Maybe it was all a big misunderstanding

Someone was firing at me from an apocalypse and I barely got away... If that wasnt you, the you were one of the other people chasing me all the way back to the orvolle gate and firing at me each time i was moving towards the gates...
And for the record... i wasnt given a detailed reason why I wasnt allowed to move towards that gate, I was just threatened and locked.

You appeared to be camping a gate. I locked onto you and scanned your vessel to see what level of threat you posed. I decided that you were probably not a pirate at this point from your setup. I unlocked you and moved off, set an autopilot and continued on my journey. You chose that moment to follow me, warp scramble me and begin firing at me. I tried to pm you and you ignored my request. I then decided to lock you down and open up on you. I let your pod escape and left your can where it was in space as it had no missiles in it I could take to replenish those I had used taking care of you. No hard feelings :)

Unfortunately our pilot did not have enough time to explain anything as you opened fire right after approaching the gate without even trying to talk or listen.
So in fact you were the one initiating the first agression and after that there was of course no way for us to let you pass (as said earlier, we may have considered if you would have asked).
So please stop complainig here about people hunting you after you attacked them first  |

I wasnt complaining, I was detailing the incident... the whole event was rather entertaining seeing it might be a deterant to people trying to claim all the systems around the secure/unsecure space borders...
Perhaps I was a little over eager to attack pirates that I read a threat where I could have discussed it.

when u locked me i switched to Red Alert!

I hope you locking me in 0.3 while I flew an Iteron 5 was a joke on your behalf and not a serious attempt at taking it out.
I didn't take the chance though with 2 million pyerite.

LOL did I?! I can't remember that. There was a stage when i first got a scanner from a NPC drop when I was testing it out and seeing how good it was.

4c belongs to ORS, NORAD is soon to be dead. CHON and BNC have abandoned them. :) Unless they wish to return?

gj varg, anyone camping a gate for security purposes and not just to kill everything would have got u warp scrambled target jammed and webified then figured out what ur business was. i believe they were there just to kill anything they didn't have a nap with. so u made the right decision in firing upon them when they opened fire on u. gj keep up the good work
