You can also right click somewhere near the fitting area (like between the tower drop down and the location label) and a "Rename this tower" popup should appear. For some reason I couldn't get the right clicking on the tab itself to work.....since I got it working anywhere else on the tab I didn't hunt for a solution.

Sorry for being so dense, but I'm having trouble operating the program.
I set the number of days, add in the current fuel measurements, and when I go to the third tab to calculate the cost, it gives me a figure over 7 billion ISK.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Allan

About the fuel system. When i download fuel data from eve, it updates fuel status for just that tower and then shows same amount to all towers. Is this the way it is supposed to be?
having the same thing with multiple towers, ive read though the thread havent found anything concerning it. any word on this?

I'll take a look at it next chance I get. The custom controls library that is doing the skins and what not have been updated and I need to include those in the next revision...speeds up drawing of the forms and should make sure it's all Win7 compatible. Need to do some testing on my Win7 box and once I have I'll upload a newer version.
Or maybe I'll wait for the Dominion update and hopefully they'll finally release the rest of the moon ID's and locations in the data dump so I can include that too. We'll see.

Seems to be working fine for me in 7, however there is two things I'd like to feature request:
1) the possibility to add separate fitment options, so I can say that this is the modules I'd like to have on the POS while doing normal work, maybe another set during another set of circumstances (change between multiple types of reactions for example), maybe a set while under attack, another when the tower is reinforced.
And one where you see absolutely all the modules that you'll have to bring/anchor to the POS, given maximum reuse of POS equipment.
Today I'm just making multiple towers with the specific setups for each circumstance, I'd prefer it if I didn't have to do that.
2) graphs to show the falloff and dps of guns, maybe even a way to get a visual representation of how the DPS will be in relation to the tower, so choosing guns etc will be easier.
Although 2) is very much a wishlist item. 1) I'd say would be more beneficial.
Other than that, though, excellent work!

Set the fitting you want. Do a "Save Fitment", call it what it's for ("moon mining", "defense", etc). Then just apply fittings as you need. Or add all the modules and offline what you don't want to display.

Is it just me, or did the Dominium Update break the API Import Functions?

It did for me, gives the "object reference not set to an instance of an object" error now, worked fine before dominion, and the fix that was posted for this before dosent work.

Broken for me too. Don't know whether to reset my Full API key and start from getting the tower data again, or wait for the author to see if Dominion broke the fuel dl function.

I've been off a lot lately and haven't checked this thread but someone did evemail me. I'll take a look at the fuel import section....the code used to get tower data is based on the libeveapi code (http://code.google.com/p/libeveapi/) and it looks like that project is at a stand still. I'll see if I can muddle my way through their code and find the error.
The custom controls library that I use also has had a couple updates that really should be deployed so that will be done at the same time. Look for a update in the next week.

Edited by: Jonas Vinthyn on 05/01/2010 17:44:21 So I found the issue and fixed it in the API parser. I then went to download my towers fuel and coolant came up as blank and fuel remaining was at 0 days. I kept trying to troubleshoot if they made another change to the API and it turns off my tower was offline because it had no coolant.
So here is the quick fix. Download the updated libeveapi.dll file to the My POS program directory (by default C:\Program Files\My POS) and overwrite the existing one:
Updated libeveapi.dll (36Kb)
I'll release a "proper" update soon.

I full update will be posted later today or tomorrow morning. Working on cleaning up the latest Dominion data dump in regards to moon and system names. I added another status field to the Fuel Supply tab that will give you the status of your tower (since mine was offline when testing it would have came in handy...). The options will be anchored or offline, online (with online time/date), onlining (with time done), reinforced (with until date) and unanchored (which will list in what system it's floating). Also cleaned up the interface a bit and updated the custom controls library to the newest revision which makes it a bit quicker. Also will probably add a extra skins package for those that like that sort of thing. :) My POS - POS Fitting and Fuel Calc

New version released. Changes are listed in the post above this, newest libeveapi is included.
As usual it's recommended you uninstall your old version before installing the new version.
Before someone *****es about missing moon data I just downloaded the dominion data dump from late last month and pulled every system and moon name out of the eveNames table. Guess what? No new moons are in it, still the same 232,767 moons as before. There are additional system names (J??????) but no more moons. So to make up for people saying it doesn't pull the correct moon name I made it look up the system name when no valid moon name is found. At least you'll have the system name then. System name is also used if you have a unanchored tower since it doesn't ahve a associated moon it will list the system the tower is unanchored in. It would be nice if someone can test that out....unanchor a tower then download the fuel and it should say "Unanchored in (system name)" under tower status.

Slight update to version 2.4.1. I added the ability for additional skins and added a skin pack that has 20 some extra skins for the program. Both the new version and the skin pack are on the Cassandra's Light website, see the first post.

Has anyone tried to download fuel/status info for a unanchored tower? I'm curious to find out the results.

I'm assuming CCP does not include what is anchored in the API. If you could include downloading what items are anchored at each POS, that would be fantastic.
Also, a summary page of the fuel needs & balancing across all POS would be awesome! :)
Thanks!

No, this isn't available...all you can get is the tower, it's status, and it's fuel. My POS - POS Fitting and Fuel Calc
