I was mining in old man star yesterday and noticed a pirate in local (machett3 from veto). I managed to warp out of the belt just in time (saw him on the grid as i entered warp). So i dock up and wait for him to leave. after about 20 minutes hes gone from local so i head back to my can in the belt to see if its still there.
as i arrive at the belt i see machett3 enter local again, thinking hes just jumped in from another system i quickly loot my can and begin my warp back to the station, i wasnt fast enough as machett3 suddenly appeard in the belt from a random direction (logoff spot inline with nothing) and way faster than he should have been. So i died, thats ok i can take the hit but what i cant take is veto saying they dont do loing traps then doing them anyway!?
it seems verrones post was all lies, or his rule over his members isnt quite as strong as he thinks. |

I dont even know Verone in person, but my gut feeling is that there is no way he is a liar, and im a pretty good judge of character.

Dont know about the other eve players, but who are you? Why should I belive you?
Veto have a reputation, unlike you. I'd take their word over yours anyday.

So you were mining in OMS? And you're complaining that a Veto guy had to use a log in trap to kill your insta warping local watching ass?
Good job on his part I say. If that's what it takes to kill someone who has every advantage to flee, so be it.

It's your word: a guy with no rep, no accomplishment, and in a 1 man corp nobody knows's word against Veto, a corp everyone who has one ounce of experience respects for what they've done in EVE, and Verone who has been 100% Grade-A gentleman and upstanding member of the community.

What an interesting time you chose to post this. 
Just so you guys know, Verone is away at the moment and as you know he handles anything posted on Eve-o, I can't help but feel you guys thought it would be a great idea to post and say 'OH LOOK THEY ARE SILENT, GUILTY GUILTY BURN THEM'
I'm not even getting into the arguement of proof or stfu because frankly if you had even a smidgen of proof and half a brain you'd be talking to me so I could handle it in private, though if you have it please feel free to post fraps.
I ask you one question, Why would we risk 2 YEARS of hard work and our ENTIRE REPUTATION to kill your ship? No offence to you, but you're not worth it.
This is the only post I'm making on this as I'm not even sure if I should be posting. If you have any real problems feel free to convo me in-game.
EDIT: Oh and looking at our killboard, no kill has been posted by machette either.

He BM'ed your can, jumped out, reapproached gate, jumped back in and warped right on top of your predictable @ss, I'm sure.
Considering the hoolahoops that some have been doing, trying to discredit Veto, I'm gonna call belittled ego on this one until there's more proof.

I killed a barge in a belt the other day,
when i was looting the can i crashed to desktop, took some time to logg back in again and when i finnaly did i landed right on top of the guy that i just killed,
this time in a iteron trying to save his loot.
killed him again, and ofcourse i got petition for logg in trapp.

Veto have a enormously inflated and undeserved reputation on these boards mostly created by those who know nothing about pvp and piracy.
There is no doubt that they constantly exploit log off tactics no matter what bs Verone posts.
All he is is a forum smacktalker with the lowest kill ratio stats of any pirate ceo in eve.

So lets post some random, unbacked, false, and over dramatized text about veto. Or you could actually have some of that ol' grey matter, and well - be normal?
Verones kills are most likely lower than the rest of the corp for one simple fact. Being CEO takes alot of extra time. And especially for a corp with a reputation and intricacy of Veto. Lets face it, they have their own recruitment corp, training school, whilst having to run the corp normally, AND you expect him to be top of the board at the same time?
Plus whether claims are true or false, a ceo cannot FORCE his/her members to do what he wants. Ofcourse theres a boot option. But why would someone boot a friend/corpie, over an alts unbacked claims?

There's a ton of real possibilities as to how/why that particular scenario could have happened.
Veto's always been as honorable as pirates can be...I fail to see how a forum post will effect their image anyway. Especially written like these most recent examples have been.
There's an easy solution, don't play alone, and don't mine solo in low sec; it's just asking for a gank.

how can i prove it? i dont fraps mining ops and after asking the GMs for the system logs i was told no, furthermore if a GM did give me said logs i couldnt post about it on eve-o anyway.
all im saying is what happened and how it looked to me.
