Very good report there Stamm, and pretty much perfect detail wise.
This is from a TRI members perspective.
We left VFK to BKG at around 18:00 eve time. The journey was relatively lagless, and we made the trip relatively fast. We arrived in LXWN without much delay. We had regrouped with a smaller MM/RZR/friends gang a few jumps before. By this time the TRI gang was 170ish, and the friends at around 50. TRI alone had 100 sniping battleships.
We were given the order to hold on the BKG gate in LXWN while our FC's spoke with the rzr gang leaders to form a plan. As a grunt, I had no clue what was on the other side of the gate apart from 'a lot including capitals'.
After around 30 minutes, order was given for support to jump in, and a couple of minutes after the battleships to jump in. This is where the game went disasterous.
Those that loaded and decloaked either died or killed some and miraculously got out. However nearly the entirity of our 100 sniping battleships were still in LXWN after 30 minutes of spamming jump. However we slowly got moved into BKG, although not loading, but being in the 'between' space. After a further 30 minutes of being in 'there' the node reset.
We were given the command to log in as soon as possible and to remove the bubble and hostile presence. I was lucky enough to get in suprisingly fast compared to the others. It was obvious that a large number of TRI/RZR pilots were able to get to the field first, as there were very few hostiles on overview even though there were a large number of ships present.
One by one, the hostile capitals and a few battleships logged in. We called primaries, hostiles died. It can barely be called a fight, more of a turkey shoot
After an hour on the gate, we heard of a hostile naglfar on the 8-4 gate. We moved our fleet there and promptly killed it. There was then reports of a chimera on station within docking range. Whether the pilot was afk after warping to the station thinking he was docking, or *shrugs*, he went down extremely fast.
After that the TRI fleet moved home, with a portion of it staying in BKG to help out the rzr fleet.
If the nodes had performed last night would have been epic. Numbers were relatively even, although Mpire/fatal had capital support. Unlucky to the hostiles, and props for using capitals on the field where they should be used, rather than hiding at a pos.
Entire fight was frapsed (around 50 minutes) until my hard drive ran out of space, so I missed the fraps of 3 capital kills
