How does EVETV feel about this possibility?
I know that both sides and the majority of the watchers are keen for spaceship gore. I personally was rather disappointed that the match didn't go ahead being my first alliance battle and I know this sentiment was felt by the other team.
There was alot of confusion in the rush to get the battle going and the only real solution I can see is a rematch of the same teams with the same setup/characters.

Just like in sports once the referees make a call that's it. Even if it is a bad call. To do anything else opens a can of worms no one wants to deal with.

Yes, we did mess up. And we don't mind being penalized for it. But we would like an even playing field, and when MC and The Five get nothing or a slap on the wrist for violations that seem just as severe...

"The Hand of God"
This particular mach was called right according to the rules, and that is all good, but just sticking with the first possible reaction, however bad or catastrofical it is, is simply bad policy. ___ P.S. Post with your main. Mind control and tin hats |

I'd love to see that match, if only because I'd love to see RONIN's dTbut match.
But I don't think they can without opening a Pandora's Box of "you bent the rules for them, why not for us?!". I don't think they safely can. ------

They could just not open the selectively bending them can in the first place. There is no .5. for example. It's BoB double dipping and everyone knows it. It's a good thing everyone's not that lame or there'd be 1000 alliances in the tourney.
On a side note, the call was made. Get over it. Have some dignity and shut up.

I ask you this: why should the Goons be treated fairly after what they did int he past?

Because if CCP shows favoritism (or, in this case, anti-favoritism) towards an alliance, they are going back on all of their assurances to the contrary, and thus re-opening a can of worms.
Failing that, they are lowering themselves to the Goons' level and thus destroying their reputation all the same.
Idiot.

If by 'In the past' you mean take action to force CCP to acknowledge underhanded dealings that they thought were acceptable to brush under the rug?

There's more spin in that one sentence than in the entire 2000 USA Presidential elections. Congrats.

It¦s not EVE TV¦s call to make. We are simply the broadcasters. The GMs are the officials and, as in all things, what the officials say, goes, bad call or no bad call. The experts can debate the whys and wherefores on the show. It was disappointing that the match didn¦t go ahead, for both teams, for their supporters, the viewers and - yes, I¦m sure - for the officials too.

The decision to let RONIN V. GoonSwarm would not benefit BoB or MC in no way possible so i think a rematch is totally out of the question and its quite rude of you to ask for one.

We demand 159 points.
We definitely need a rematch now - call it the Math Bowl or something.

You're right. If they should get 150% for TotalHellDeath for the match then they should have 164 points.

First, like I asked.. whats any of it have to do with the past? Second, they only have themselves to blame for not being ready and organized ahead of time. DC's or not the team should have known who was in what and what their role was in the gang. TS/VENT FTW! Lastly, I would have rather seen the fight but the rules are the rules and no one is above that.
