I dont see the problem with this one.
yes, you dont get any bookmarks (not yesterday when i got it) but what was worse i was at my agent down in sothern Amarr space when i got this mission to go search Lonetrek and Forge regions for a Fugitive hideout...
I asked my corp mates - whats the deal - they said to just drop the mission and take the faction hit...
blow that.
i warped up to the Forge region, and then started asking in local if anyone had seen these locations or gotten criminal DNA..
one person was helpful and said - go to this system 3 jumps away.. and so i started that way. Then i meet a hauler who said he'd just been at a place mining omber and shooting the rats there who dropped "Criminal DNA".
he handed over 18 of them to me for free - he didn't need them and they were easy to get he said.
i was able to complete this mission without firing a shot, not spending a single isk, and not even finding the place - just by being friendly and talking to people.
its amazing what happens when you ask for directions...
oh - but no! i forgot guys dont like to ask for directions.. hehe.

Saw a fugitive hideout last night in Aidart system if its any help. Didn't stop to have a look though. Same symbol as the Serpentis Base in Aidart and Training Ground in Cistuvaert.

Just to be the ultimate spoiler, I can add that I found a system earlier today, strolling through empire space...And cursing why on earth all the points for asteroid fields seemed to have jumped 100K off target. Stumbled across a hideout, so people: Save yourself 50K, and listen up. ;-)
Trosqesere has one, I know. Unless it only exists for a limited amount of time, which I kinda doubt...Have a go at it, if it's your thing.

Lazy to read it all. Maybe you already know but here it goes: One fugitive hideout is in Unpas, just warp to the beacon.

Yeah instead of making these really obvious because a few people have complained, why not up the reward and have them only discoverable through good use of the ship scanner - i.e. "scanner missions".

Urlen has a fugitive hideout also..
About 3 jumps from New Caldari.
Seemed to be about 10 or so of them at various roids and a Fugitive Hideout station.
They all seemed to be 2k rats
This is also a mission spawn site, so please don't be killing other people's rats ....ie non fugitive rats that spawn at same POI

Guys when u get this mission warp to any one of the named systems and open ure scanner .... click on the range tab and hold down 0 for abit. This will set ure scanners range to max. Once u have down this scroll doan the list till you find "Fugitive Hideout" on the list .... it should show up as Celestial Beacon ... right click it on the list and warp to it ... hey presto ure there. The only bug with this mission is that the text in ure journal is wrong. I have done this mission myself many times.

I also just noticed you can buy Criminal DNA on the market, about 1,000 a pop. This shouldn't work but I bet it does. I've toured both the constellations I was told to Search, scanning each solar system on max range and never came across a Fugitive Hideout or beacon.

Actually I just found the hideout at Unpas - seems my scanner range didn't reach far enough to get the whole system when I was passing through. This time I flew to the star then scanned - you get better coverage that way.
Another hot tip - the bracket/icon/symbol you're looking for is a down arrow shape.

Yeah well kind late reply i think but whatever :).When i was a noob i saw so damn many fugitive hideouts.Just add beacon on overview and u should be fine with this mission
