Seriously though. No, I don't think any single standing force right now could defeat the MC. From what I've read and what after battle footage I've taken the time to analyze, they're so very professional in their approach to combat (within the limits of a game environment) it allows them to fight much larger numbers of lesser organized forces at any time, even on multiple fronts (even taking the superiority of a lot of their equipment out of the equation).
tbh i stopped reading after this part cause it is very very wrong
mc alone can't take out any serious entity (ie bob, ra, mm, rzr, tri, goons (yes they are serious entity kinda)...) they choose their contracts and dont accept any that looks hard enough... or they do and they fail like against mm in north when they actually did fight alone
even when they screw up and take contract they cant fulfill, or think they cant, they dont involve capitals, till they see which way conflict is going (if it isnt going so good they'll just say - 'Hey we had a contract which didnt involve taking stations')
all their major deeds arent their alone, they had loads of 'friendlies' on their side (ie destroying allready destroyed alliance - D2, 'defending' fix - still nto finished, etc)
if you are refering only to unorganized forces as you mentioned in your post, you can send outbreak they would do nice against such, so no mc isnt only one
and fightning on multiple fronts is one thing mc never done (unles you think fighning npcs on alt tab and waiting for battle at main account, is fightning on multiple fronts)
flame all you want, but above text isnt very far from truth
Think next time please
this comming from you what mouth, it isnt time of a year for turncoating yet
Damnit, I knew I should've joined Gurbeta Corp instead. Then people would take my frivolous forum posts more seriously. What was I thinking? ----

Long answer. If you approached MC with a brilliant plan on how to defeat MC and provided the finances to cover the risk and a healthy profit then MC might be able to take out MC for you. This really is a "How would Chuck Norris kill Chuck Norris" question.

Actually, could Chuck Norris take out MC? Or perhaps MC be hired to take out Chuck Norris? Of course, Jack Bauer would pwn them both if it was suspected that one of them knew where the damn bomb is!! -----------------

Oh dear lord. What have I done. I've released Barrens chat into EvE. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Chuck Norris alone. Hmm, close call. MC would DD Chuck and maybe singe one of his chucktanium beard hairs. Then he would roundhouse kick the nearest star and destroy the MC fleet. Seleene would have a stealthed recon on standby to salvage the beard hair. Then the new duplication skill would be put to good use in building their next fleet of ships from synthetic chucktanium after Chuck gets bored and leaves. MC Mk 2 ships begin fulfilling a long standing contract on the Polaris fleets. Chuck beats MC, MC pwns Polaris, Vin Diesel and Mr. T hear about what Chuck's been up to and decide to check out this EVE thing. Chuck hears they're playing and comes back. The presence of Chuck, Mr., and Vin on the server simultaneously cause all of CCP's hamsters to explode from the presence of pure awesome. CCP is destroyed in the furball doomsday. EVE ends. Jack Bauer sees the CCP explosion, decides that was the bomb, and retires.
The end.

The problem with having MC do the work for you is, as we saw up North, they aren't going to stick around after the job is done and babysit. Sure, you can have them go conquer a few regions for you for the right price, but in the end, you're still stuck defending the space unless you live next door to their own home space, in which case their survival is highly dependant on your own.

If you managed to stand up to the raw firepower that they will surprise you with (right where your weakest defense is, bet on it). And then cleared out their manufacturing strength and pushed them into a guerilla war, it would just get worse for the aggressor. Because once freed from territorial defense responsibilities, they'd truly be able to focus entirely on their attacker, which given the way eve is setup, would find it nearly impossible to defend against a highly mobile hit-and-run force. So instead of being crushed by a surprise sledgehammer blow, you'd suffer the death of a thousand cuts later. Either way, an attacking force would lose. They day you took their territory would be when they shifted from intimidating to terrifying.
I'd also be absolutely stunned if the MC didn't have the materials in reserve to get new manufacturing outposts up and running within a few days of losing their entire current territory. They seem like they've got one or more tacticians that understand that three plans are best. The one you show, the one you do, and the ace in the hole that lets you reset the board if you start losing.
So no. Right now, ship for ship or leader for leader, MC wouldn't lose. You might be able to get them with a massive superiority of numbers. But, risking being cliche here, it would be like watching 300. They might go, but they won't go alone, and they'd cripple whoever it was that tried that approach.
Sorry for rambling, that's what happens when you marry into a family of military historians, it starts rubbing off on you.

*edit* I've just got to point out how disgustingly brown-nosed your post was. I literally dry heaved as I neared the end, it's that terrible. I don't think I've ever seen anybody plead for attention and respect more blatantly than you have here, and this is from somebody who's been fighting BoB pets constantly for the past few months.
Actually, the first guy may be right. Many people don't remember, but MC were scary bastards before they settled down. And given how well organized they are, I can see them being determined rather than totally demoralized following any potential loss of their space. I don't know if they would continue prosecuting a war against their aggressor for a huge length of time. They would, however, probably go back to their roots of efficient-as-hell fleet for hire. But now with a lot more cap ships. A LOT. --------------

Oh trust me, I'm sure that when MC is kicked out of Period Basis and the north they'll become vicious opponents freed from the oppression of, well... owning stuff, just like -V- and LV did. I just can't stand it when pubbies get quoted by Molle or Dianaballick and then they get all flustered and promptly fall to their knees, begging Seleene to give them something to choke on so that they might one day pleasure him enough to be allowed into hallowed and honourable ranks of the mighty Mercenary Coalition. It's sad.

One of the most impressive things about MC IMO is the leadership. Seleene is a strong hand and a sharp mind, a great inspiration for all girl gamers of Eve. Even if we are enemies I have nothing but the greatest respect for her. I too hope to be leadership material some day, (both in Eve and RL, going to business school) and even if gender equality has come a long way it's still very hard to be a woman in charge of men...

One of the most impressive things about the Goons is how utterly childish the great majority of you seem to be.
As for the rest, I don't see MC going anywhere, except perhaps into that brand spanking new IAC outpost they've just had "reimbursed".

Id**t of the day, congrats m8!
How old are you? 14? You think MC is one uber power that only them selfs could kill them selfs?
And have you never heared that Chuck Norris SU**ED BIG TIME? Of all the marshal arts figther you pick "fat su**s now way i can figth norris" ?
If Goons/RA with frieds gets alitle bit closer to MC/BoB space, the panik will spread over there mebers, and thenyou will see the "worlds" bigest snow ball efect of mass leaving of mebers. And soon after that MC will lose there home sistems, and then kill them selfs.
Have a nice day MC Seleen licka a** whana bee.

Ive never liked em tbh, BOB maybe elitist but at least they aint ever gonna uber blob everybody simply because of that fact.
My alliance is in the war up north and not many of us have any respect or good feelings towards goon but BOB was causing us grief.

If BoB hasn't uber-blobbed you yet, that means they are winning. BoB is both capable of and willing to send a 250 ship fleet, but only if they encounter serious resistance. If they can beat you easily with small gangs then that's all they'll use, and keep their main fleet down south where it's needed.

Considering that half of Goonfleet hates being associated with goons I'd say you would have been fine posting that on your main. Of course, if you did post it on your main everyone would find out that you're just a bitter, disgruntled BoB pet and your post would have even less credibility than it does now.

Anything you could possibly think of to complain about regarding goons, BoB did it either first or worse, not least of all blobbing D2's capital production to death. Luckily nobody falls for your "I have every reason to like goons BUT EVEN I CAN'T STOMACH THEM I'm fighting BoB BUT BOB ARE SO GREAT" act. You're a liar and a bad one.
