Last night at approx 02:23 EVE Time (or GMT -12 depending on what your clock says) LFC successfully deployed its first ever titan.
23 minutes before this monumental occasion, a new threat, known only as the Generic Enemy Alliance (an alt alliance of bob or BoB we think, we're not quite sure *tinfoil*) entered and completely overwhelmed the north from all directions. Faced with this new threat, former enemies FATAL, MPIRE, CoW, FALL, RAZOR, Tri and other alliances quickly put aside their differences and formed a mutual defense pact to deal with this new and deadly foe, which was currently stripmining the vast Veldspar deposits of the FATAL home system D4R-H7.
All attempts to defend against this deadly enemy using conventional forces were met with disaster and the destruction of several Velators, Ibises and Shuttles. Against such overwhelming odds the fledgling NNC (Nu Northern Coalition) looked certain to fall, taking the north as we knew it with it. However, LFC approached the NNC council with news of a secret doomsday project which had been under development for use against the 'Old Northern Coalition' (also referred to as RAZOR and Co) that could prove to be a turning point in the war. All of the coalition's remaining resources would be needed to complete the project, and after a quick discussion it was agreed that this was the North's last, best hope for peace. The required exotic dancers, spirits and MPire's best table cloth were moved to the secret LFC staging facility 1 jump out from OE-4HB where the new weapon was painstakingly assembled.
As the only pilot in the north with the required Viking Ships lvl 5, Lacrimae, CEO of LFC was chosen to fly the ship. At 02:23:00, the vessel was combat jumped directly onto the J9-5MQ gate in D4R-H7 where the enemy had assembled, having learned of an attack through their h4x and metagaming. Our intrepid CEO wasted no time in unleashing the DDDD (Donkey Doomsday Device) on the enemy fleet, completely annihilating them.
Initial reports suggest that all ships and forum posting abilities were destroyed in the attack, with absolutely no losses (barring a few donkeys) on the NNC side. We consider this to be a complete victory and look forward to a new era of peace and prosperity in the north.
Oh, also, LFC is 4 years old today. Yay us \ /

Four more years!
From the early days in Essence, from chasing Ignition and Jeebs in Goinard, over the longest of time in Syndicate; to our time in Detorid/Tenerifis; and now to Branch with FATAL, LFC's always tried to uphold its core values. Now, as we look back, it's been one heck of a ride so far - and we're not halfway done yet.
Here's to allies and corpmates, new and old, thank you for fighting on the side of the good guys with us; and to our enemies who've made times interesting (*wink* Catch22, USTA and DNA to name the first ones ;)) - may neither side ever run out of ammo, targets or conviction.
May the following years be as vivid as the first four!

Nope, Although our creator was a liverpool fan.
Some say it stands for Lac's Fan Club, others say Leet Furry Critters.
More appropriate would Loyal Family Corporation though.
All we know is it stands for good fun, friends and fights

I personally like Lac's Fan Club obviously. Lunar Fried Chicken was a possibility once as well (don't ask, but the original LFCers - including me - all came from a corp named KFC; again, don't ask, I seriously don't know...). Other suggestions have been Lunar Fried Carnicx, Lac's Furry Chest (thanks DJTheBaron, but I am not furry), Lethal Forces of Chaos, Low Flying Clouds, Liquid Flame Corp, Lost F[you know]ng Children etc etc - and of course the suggestions given by my corpmates.
Old names that don't fit anymore was also Lac [naughty] Clipped and Lunar Front of Cyndicate (we lived in Syndicate, iirc we were also drunk).
It stands for whatever we feel like at the time :)
