i wish that they would give us t2 ships that we want
too many ships are being used for unintended roles because there are no ships to fit that role like carriers being used as haulers
i predict
8 bs
4 tier 2 destroyers
4 jump freighters
1 missing amarr frig
3 non racial ships for something i cant think of right now

1x large transport/mini freighter per race (total 4)
1x carrier size jump freighter per race (total 8)
2x T2 BS per race (total 16)
1x salvage destroyer per race (total 20)

Well for the covert ops BS racial BS L5 for sure (which i have  ) but for the rest... mebbe cloaking L5 (which would suck as thats just more timesink)
For the rest, mebbe a true T2 destroyer which has the tank to match the firepower (somehow it should suck against cruisers and above but should excel at wtfpwning T2 friggies )
give them high resists instead of lots of hps. the increased firepower over frigs for cruisers will definitely still get through the resist while the frigs will falter.

i am the only person thinking about this logically.
20 new ships. thats 5 per race.
K then. THe new Recon/missioning BS
theres 3 BS per race atm. so i figure thats 1 mission running bs for each version.
SO thats 12 of the new ships gone.
8left 2 per race... is it me or do most stuff like HACs and Recons all have 2 ships per class.
So thats gonna be 2 recon BS with slightly differeing roles. thats the other 8
there ya go 20new ships. 2new recon BS per race and 3 new mission running BS per race.... thats just working on the info that i know of.
I could be totally wrong but nobody else thought of this yet?
(cba to read through all 7 pages so somebody may have mentioned this already)

I'm not sure how they will do T2 destroyers. The Sabre is already a T2 destroyer, the other 3 simply arn't.

OK in the Global Market you are apart of "Real" companies have a department called "PR" (Public Relations)and that department would not let a piece of crap like this get out or in the first place even happen. Are you kinding me .. come on who was the tool who kicked the camera at the begining and then let someone walk behind the interview location. Also it is called a "Sound Check". Really just poor form.

You have to remember that adding more t2 ships at the high end, BC's and BS's just further expand the gap between new players and older ones. You make that gap too large and new players are not going to wait around the time it they need to achieve skills to be competitive.
While it is understandable that many older players want something new, you have to be aware that this game relies on constant new blood to replace those that leave. Normal retention is only about 6 months now, that is hardly enough time to get a competitive pvp setup now.

Instead of introducing more T2 ships for the pvp crowd, how about making T1 ships more useful, especially frigates?
I don't fly T2 ships and see no point in training for them since I live in Empire.
Eve is moving closer and closer toward becoming just another mindless FPS. I sometimes wonder why I keep playing.

8 low slots (armor tank)
4 med slots
4 high slots
ability to use 10 low/med drones at once where bonis are like this
- +10% drone dammage/hp peer Carier level (maybe mining drone Yield)
- +1 drone can be active peer (insert shiptype) level
- +5km drone range/speed peer (insert shiptype) level
don't know about the slots. maybe 6 low /6 med /4 high. not to much high slots (it's a small carier then) but a good amount of low and propper med slots.
and a Cruiser where new players can suport there Corporations without dieing instantly even at level 4++ missions or PvP. it's a dam long way until you can fly (not only buy, FLY) something like a Interceptor or better to survive properly :(.
don't get me wrong, it should not be a killer or soloer ship, just something where you don't instant-pop after targeted while you suport your team. yes, there is a Suport-Ship but that needs you to train from 40 to 60 days just to bring it out of a station without any defens/suport/navigation skills.

Most requested and least time-consuming for CCP would be three T2 BS (one per tier) for each faction, plus two variants of the tier 2 BCs like we've already seen with the tier 1's. So... black ops bs, carebear bs, ??????? bs, and what they'll do with the tier 2 battlecruisers I don't even want to speculate - beyond requesting a vagacane.

I think adding 20 new ships is a stupid idea. We've got plenty of ships as it is. Combat mechanics could use some looking at before we start throwing more content into the mix.
That being said, content is a good way to attract subscribers, so I'll guess:
Jump drive equipped hauler x 4
T2 BS, bonus to damage vs. station services? x 8
T2 frig/destroyer for tracking down cloakers x 4
T2/tier2 dread??? x4
o and btw this is sparta

I could care less about new stuff at this point in time, actually I don't want anymore new stuff. I want the stuff we have all balanaced and refined, and I would like bug fixes, less lag, and a modern user interface.

Anyone stopped to think where all these T2 BS are going to come from?
No more T2 BPO's so they will all require invention and with a 20% succsess rate on ships, and the requirements ie. max run T1 BS Bpc, perhaps 50 Datacores at current price of around 50 Mill, and decryptors costing 45 mill, all of which is lost during the process and times 5, taking in to account the failure rate.
Add the huge demand that there will be, these ships are goimg to cost a billion each and thats if you can find one. Also the very high skill requirements to invent them will reduce the supply. Starship datacores are 70k isk apiece atm, so they will rise in price by a factor of 10 and mech eng cores, currently at 1.3 mill each will be in short supply.
A knock on effect will be that all T2 ships will rise significantly in price due to material shortages and all the inventors turning their attention to the 20 new ships.
