On an hour to hour ratio paying 14.95 is by far the better way of paying for a game. Take some people many hours to get 500 mil
I still believe the 'sweet spot' is the six month sub, its around $12/month. Yearly is cheaper, yes (hello Akita), but working off of 6-month intervals give you the opportunity to unsub on a bad release (which I did do on one account).
For SL I did yearly subscription, was OK (other than those devs making a sub pointless). Gametap I got F'd over badly doing that (long story), so on balance I'm not fond of yearly subs.
I may have come here from Myst Online, but that does not make me any less bloodthirsty than the average Eve player.
Just more subtle.

Nerfing things like PI (which is an ISK sink due to the tariffs unless you put up a POCO), is a stupid suggestion. I'm shocked that you would make that suggestion, Akita T, since you usually have a firm grip on faucet vs sink. All of the income from stuff like PI, mining, Loyalty Points, R&D agents comes from other players being willing to pay another player ISK for the item. If the players over-supply the market, people who do things like PI, R&D agent farming, etc. prices drop and those items are worth less per unit.
The only reason that player-supplied goods rise/fall is supply vs demand. A new FOTM pops up and people stop consuming one item and switch to consuming a different item. Which leads to temporary shortages and over-supply until the producers figure out that the winds have shifted and change what they make to meet the new demand.
If you want to lower inflation, look at things that generate magical ISK out of thin air, like the Incursion ISK reward, or mission rewards, insurance payout or rat bounties. Swap some of them for things that have to be sold to other players. Or add some new ISK sinks, or increase some existing ISK sinks.
Mostly, it's because there's a lot more ISK then there was 3-4 years ago. More ISK sitting in wallets, more ISK moving around between players as CCP has moved more of the economy towards being player-driven (less NPC sold goods), along with 3-4 years of non-stop mission rewards, rat bounties, anom payouts, whatever. Players are simply richer then they used to be and it's a lot easier to make 100M these days because of all the ISK sloshing around. |

Well it is Akita.
His beliefs change with what ever he is doing. Plus it is a guy pretending to be a girl.

I mean Akita is so stupid she would nerf missions more than they have been over the years. What we need to nerf is 0.0 and Low Sec and stop the elitist bullshit. They make isk hand over fist for very little work. They cuss highsec why? They rat on 5 million rats and whine their EPeen tears. **** them and their ignorant nonsense. |

0.0 can make billions of isk with far less concern than highsec. To tell anyone otherwise is ********. It is free isk actually as far as risk vs reward there is no risk. Hell I could join a TardAlliance in 0.0 and make tons of isk with no risk at all. Don't believe the blow. |

That's good advice. Do you think the prices will drop under 400 when the summer slump hits? |

People need to stop panic-buying the PLEX because "OMG THEY WENT 10M LESS!!! BUYBUYBUY!" I mean 4500 orders filled because PLEX are at 475? WOW 475M BARGAIN HUH? No. **** off. If you just stop buying, the sellers will freak out that it's crashing, sell to the buy orders, everything will drop like a stone, and we will enjoy a nice cheap PLEX again. The market is at a rather precipitous point right now and it won't take much to make the prices drop again. But panicking like retards won't do that. |

In reference to something Scrapyard Bob said a few posts back. Since when has it been easy to make 100 million ISk a day. Or on a slight tangent if I am missing something here, what in the hell is it?
Because seriously 15-20 Mill a day is most I have seen. Again might be me. |
