If my stabber got nerfed, id prove the general public wrong in the fact that it still works very well, and laugh in your face. Prove everybody wrong.

I decided early on to leave my options open as much as possible and every nerf proves the wisdom of the decision. I got Amarr cruiser 5 and could fly a curse just as the nos nerf hit. Pity. However it also meant I could fly a sacrilege just as it got boosted. Nice. A little flexibility beats absolute specialisation 9 times out of 10.

Chainsaw Plankton	Posted - 2007.09.15 05:55:00 - [35] i was planning on skilling up my gunnery a lot (aka sharpshooter, traject analysis, motion predict, surgical strike, and a tech 2 tree) and then do the 30ish days to get t2 guns of another race and the 20ish days for another cruiser 5. and get myself a new hac, recon, logistic, and command ship :D and get all the specs to 4. most things are more equal then you may think. although yes a few ships are quite awesome in comparison. but everything can be countered in someway. just bring a bigger blob (just kidding everyone)

Sooner or later one or the other will get a boost, and the other two races will get the nerfbat. Either way, FOTM-based ships/setups will almost always get the nerfbat. Just look at ECM, unstacked nano/inertia stabs, upcoming changes to damps, etc. - Odd Pod Out, a blog of EVE Online

(and NO laser skills) I've lost count Same with everyone who trained Minmatar to fly a Nanophoon with no projectile skills, or the people who are, right now, diving into Vagabond training when they're only a month old and will probably moan if/when the Mass-increaser modules ever get implemented :P ---
Acoco Osiris Gallente Sublime.	Posted - 2007.09.15 14:30:00 - [42] Fly what you want to fly, damn the nerfbat. A good, high-SP, experienced pilot can make even the sucky ships do a good job. And the Curse, for instance, despite being nerfed with NOS, can still energy neut down most carriers' cap recharge if you have a ship cap Xfering you. It's still highly viable, just requires different tactics (Curse + Auguror/Guardian = your foes are out of cap). Personally, I'm training a lot of the background skills which apply to many ships before I start branching out from my current Gallente frigates to battlecruisers. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars.

But I didnt care that amarr were uber, i enjoyed flying gallente so i stuck with them and eventually they became the best race to fly. Even in the future when gal are nerfed to hell and back ill still fly em.
