is getting out of hand, please communicate with us a little better than that. The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. The subsequent reintroduction of Coke's original formula, re-branded as "Coca-Cola Classic", resulted in a significant gain in sales, leading to speculation that the introduction of the New Coke formula was just a marketing ploy |

The new ISD's seem to go further than locking threads but outright deletion of topics. Kinda sad to see the censorship they've decided to instill.

Since I returned to Eve a month and half ago I noticed the personal attacks on the forums had evolved into the equivalent of prison yard shankings.
I'm glad to see some civility being restored. I don't want to feel like I'm in the penitentiary yard when I'm reading the forums. |

Stealth moderating? I love it.
Why have to explain to you that you are violating forum rules over and over again?

I don't know. The stickies where they list the rules might be a good place to start. You might have noticed them before.
Then again, maybe not. |

I believe I saw some replies to a feature request thread, suggesting the thread belongs in F&I got deleted and the thread remains although it should be in F&I.
other little things also, but it seems spotty at best

The way it's been going this past month or so, they really should just rename Generall Discussion to "All Discussion" and lock the other forums. Apparently the new forum software doesn't have a "move topic" feature, or the button is difficult for them to find. Profit favors the prepared |

As an American, I approve the (overdue) use of stealth moderation.
Of course, a real pro moderation system would allow the mods to 'exile' posts/threads instead of using the tactless tactic of deleting them. Meaning, the author can still see their post, but the post is invisible to everyone else. This leads the offending poster to believe that the rest of the community is ignoring them instead of tipping off the poster that for all practical purposes their post has been deleted.

Don't feel bad. I've had some of my posts stealth moderated as well. One particular post they removed was me name calling someone when he was doing it himself. His post is still there. |

Not only that, but they delete relevent on-topic posts. I noticed a half hour or so that one of mine had disappeared some 5m after I posted it. Perhaps somebody should get a handle on that.
Pisses me off, (only a very little bit), when people abuse things like this. If it was more important, I'd be all in a rage.. .RAAWWRRR!!!
Okay, it's just a forum and a game; but it's still wrong.
edit: Of course, we're all assuming it's the moderators, when it could really be a hacker or just a forum/database bug.
Just taking into consideration the problems with the servers for EVE Online yesterday, (last few days?), and some unusual lag with the forums around the same time.
My internet connection was absolute crap yeaterday though; so I actually can't confirm it was the forums at any specific point, and not my connection. Game stalled to, when I first logged in yesterday; just ended up with the loading screen, and no ability to bring up escape menu. Jita chat kept on though, if a bit slower than usual. Had to Task Manager my way out. |

Now that is something that should seriously be considered for these forums. It would be just perfect ! YouGÇÖve got to be kidding me. IGÇÖve been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.
