I lost a Raven doing something rather stupid a while back and took some time off of mission running. Now I've come back with a T2 tank T2 and arbalest launcher Raven short the rigs (need more isk first).
I ran my first L4 mission in a while yesterday, The Right Hand of Zazzmataz(sp?), and had to warp out twice. I never had to warp out twice flying T1 Ravens before but I was flying for Minmitar before and flying for Gallente now. As that mission has instant aggro with most of the rats I just started attacking the highest DPS ships first and worked my way down while my drones played with the frigates.
Am I doing something wrong or is this mission a bit tougher from others? I may answer my own question tomorrow when I fly some more but I'd still rather not fry my new Raven by doing something stupid...

One of many sites that might help you find whats exactly wrong. My initial guess would be wrong hardeners.

Oh yeah, I went to Eve Info too, I believe I went two thermal hardeners, one EM and one Kinetic...

Did you kill Zor first? He's one of the single most damaging npcs you can find in missions, I think. Although he dies quite easily. He should be your first target.

That was warp out number 1, I targeted the wrong BS
Number 2 was with the cruisers attacking me which is part of what confuses me, perhaps I should have tanked for them specifically instead of tanking for the whole mission (massive Zor thermal attack).

I usually take out all the cruisers first, but I fly armor tanks.

An alternative is to do this one at range.
Try warp to 100km, cancel the warp, then do it again and you'll end up 100km from the usual warp-in point (don't try it without the cancel, you'll end up at the usual warp-in point... unless that's been fixed, anyone know?)
Tank mainly thermic, as Zor is really the only one that can hit you at that range. Just keep flying away from them, pick them off one by one. Once they're all dead, you should be about 150km from one of the structures, so you can use warp-to to get in range for the structure and the 4 inties that are left.

FYI: Even if you do warp in at 0, you have more than enough time to bm, warp out and warp back in at 100.
