I'm just waiting for the petition to come out, and CCP to follow their own EULA and nerf the class to:
Minmatar Battleship Type 23987423 Gallente Battleship Type 92837492 Caldari Battleship Type 37982349 Amarr Battleship Type 49879823

Call it Illegal Immigrant.
You know...since the ship is supposed to violate borders...I mean trespass of course...and stay there for extended periods of time until they get kicked out. ---

Violator's perfect. Prowling the dark recesses of space when all are sleeping, looking for a lone victim unaware of the imminent horror so he and his mates can get to work... the violator, coming to a dark belt near you while you are flying back home drunk in Rev 3!

Larger cargo bay let's you carry more ammo, spare drones, stuff. That could be enough to market it as "stay longer in hostile space" I guess. Meh.
Or maybe a ship that could refit in space? Nah, that'd be too big of a change. Still less then all ships needing fuel though.

And for the French wussies complaning about the meaning of a similar stem in French, well, I don't know if you are aware, but English is NOT French. Just to let things clear.
What does that have to do with anything? Who said that this game was a english one? And frankly, CCP had this coming since they inserted a french race and not a english one into the game.
But yea, I couldnt care less about the name of the class since its not sexist in any way. Allthough I do like 'Flagship' better.
The game is in English. The site is in English. The Ship names are in English. The fact that there is a French descendency in one of the game races (as there are oriental descendances in all races) is completely irrelevant here, as what the stem is used for in French is as well. Violators perfectly describe the ships' job. If you have any traumas about the word it is not my problem, neither it is CCP's.
Just becouse the game is written in english doesnt mean that you can rule out every other language, since not every player in EVE is either from England or America. The reason some people dislike the name is becouse they relate it to a word that doesnt fit in to the game.
I wonder how many would rant if one of the shipclasses was named Sl·t, since that word means "The end" in swedish.
And if you read my post again, you will notice that I said that I dont give a sh1t about the name, sexist or not.

That is a good idea, maybe that's it. You could repair structure by shortly fitting a hull repper. And you can adapt to other's fittings and tactics without the need to go home.
Maybe it also borrows the carrier's ability to let others refit in its vicinity.
