Krulla Minmatar Miner Protection Guild	Posted - 2007.09.24 22:45:00 - [72] I can't seem to figure out how to change my name.. This game is seriously awesome though. It's the little touches that got me sold - How the heavy weapons guy starts grinning if he kills two people in a row, and how he breaks into laughter after 4 or 5. How the demoman starts grinning after he kills someone after they walk into his stickybomb trap, how the engineer shouts "Dey're destroyin' mah sentry!", etc etc etc... this game is so absolutely stylish and cool. Nice to see a game that doesn't just go for "omfg graphics", but goes for actual substance and style. And, of course, the gameplay itself is brilliantly balanced and fun.

The Dynamix team (now garage games) release a video that looked like it would turn into tribes 3 though. it was like pre alpha with a first person view of a guy flying with what looked like a non skinned disc launcher. Will have to play tonight and see... My Current Project

I've been playing TF since back in the day - no, not TF classic, the TF mod based on QUAKE! (So much fun back then, too) Valve has really done a great job with the atmosphere of the game. The cartoony look, feel, and attitude is just what the gaming community needs when every designer is pushing for more and more shiny bells and whistles and hardware requirements. Yes, the classes are pretty well balanced, with the exception of a few: The medic, while a great healer (with the added range of the healing gun), has a weenie gun that is very limited on range and projectile speed. I'd also like to see him be able to infect the other team again. The spy is a little ridiculous. I can see feigning death, I can see disguising, but cloaking? Who is he, the Predator? Oh, and for everyone: The movies/trailers/teasers that have been released are incredible in terms of animation, voice acting, scripting, directing, etc. Particular favorites are the "Meet the" series. WATCH THEM!
