I honestly didn't think that there would be that many kills by hulks, but I guess many of those would have been hulks getting on the KM with CONCORD coming in to deliver the final blow. However, ganking isn't always about harvesting ISK; it's just as often about harvesting tears. After Crucible, the Gallente Ice Interdiction was still going on, and Goons were providing their own insurance. Note that while individual traders made a lot of ISK, GSF as a whole probably lost a bit of ISK on the whole operation.
