Tranquility will undergo an extended downtime on Tuesday, 25 September. The start time is 11:00 GMT and the length of the downtime is expected to be 3 hours. During this time, a patch will be applied to Revelations consisting mainly of fixes.
Patch Notes will be available for review in the near future. Additions may be made to the patch notes during or after deployment. Changes made will be highlighted in green text.

This is not a bug but working as CCP intended. When you goto warp you are moving faster than the speed of light and matter is no longer an issue. You should not get trapped in a object since the code will move you out at high speed to clear it.

Ya, like with Rev 2.2 which said:
Quote: Some new character creation paths had too high or too low skillpoint amounts ű they have been tweaked to have similar skillpoints to all other new characters.
But actually ment: Quote: The Head of the Prospecting Faculty at the Republic University of doesn't know how to add, so students graduating within that department will now start their career with 200,000 few skillpoints than any of the other university programs available for pod pilots.

Fixing the ability to speak foreign ..... any type of foreign is fine as long as its foreign. (deep breath) Only foreigners speak foreign btw, we english speakers speak non foreign english and have no idea how to speak foreign so we dont speak foreign UNLESS we are speaking to a foreign speaking foreigner in a very loud voice. This entails shouting english in a slow foreign type of accent until the foreigner understands our english foreign or gives up and walks away. We english speakers built an Empire that way so dont knock it. We dont call you 'jonny foreigner' for nothing you know.....
As for the fixes, lets hope that the ones that dont pertain to speaking foreign help improve server stability and lag.
That is all, you may move along now...

No, the optimisations in Revelations 2.2.2 stem from continuing database "Need for Speed" work started after the release of Revelations II. We nevertheless have a number of operational action points following Microsoft's visit, some of which have already been implemented.
Originally by: Radianze wait for expanded patch notes last time patch notes got 2 times bigger after a day
Not a lot is missing from the patch notes, since the primary purpose of this patch was to fix two "multiple users" issues and deliver more database optimisations. There are still some items missing and a re-arrangement pending, so stay tuned.

I would love to see one of these patches finaly fix the drones. Be nice if thye, attacked what you tell them to attack, even after telling them to 2-3 times. Would be real handy for them to stop trying to hump each other in space and just return to my drone by when commanded. Kinda silly that a warrior II, one of the fastest drones there is, no not be able to catch up with a cyclone..... sitting still....

This folder was being created by code in OpenAL from Creative, which is a part of EVE Voice. Only the EVE installer and patcher should make modifications to the installation folder and this behaviour was unacceptable from a security standpoint. It could also cause problems on Windows Vista.

The answer is "yes"
If need arises then we will release Revelations 2.2.3, but we're not planning that release.
We're planning to release Mac and Linux support in Revelations 2.3, see this thread for more details.
Then we're working hard on the new graphics engine and the all-new art content for Revelations III, in addition to a lot of other new stuff and bugfixes. See this dev blog for more details.

Assuming your main and alt are on the same account, then that's intended game play.
Only one character per account can be on-line at any time and only one character can be doing skill training off-line. If you want to log in two characters at the same time then they need to be on different accounts.
The client handles multiple characters and multiple accounts using the same Windows user but there are instances were you would want different Windows users. For example, if you have more than one client; one client for Tranquility but also clients for our test servers, Singularity and Multiplicity; or if you only have one client but multiple accounts and want to keep the data for each account separate. See this post and this post for more details.
There were also issues in using the client with Fast User Switching in Windows that have also been resolved.

Thanks for your response. However I'm in the second class - TWO CCP accounts (Thus two sub fees, Same Credit Card FWIW), TWO Characters, two separate training paths (A Miner and a Hauler what could be clichT?). On Linux you cannot run both clients at the same time (Unlike on windows) - at least according to the Cedega support Folks. I was hoping that the blurb about multiple accounts in your patch notes meant that this matter was fixed in Cedega. From your responce I guess this means the matter was not addressed?

No, the issue we resolved was only related to running multiple instances of the client, each with the credentials of a different Windows user. There were no problems running multiple instances of the client so long as all were run in the context of the same Windows user.
I didn't know it was a problem on Cedega/Cider to run multiple instances of the EVE client; it has a purpose when you have multiple accounts and is possible and supported under Windows. We're working on supporting Mac and Linux and we have regular meetings with TransGaming these days (as can be seen from their front page...). I'll bring this issue to their attention and have our QA team look at it.

Yeh, ever since I created this account I cant scan for anything other than cosmic anomalies. The account I used before the new patch could scan for ships/cargo containers etc...and my previous account was a trail account so it had nothing to do with skills.
At the same time...roll on RIII!

You CAN run multiple clients via cedega. That said, its a royal PITA at times to set up. Currently running two clients on linux works "better" via two instances of wine than cedega.
Under cedega, you currently have to manually (on some distros and under certain video memory/physical ram constraints) set the video memory, or the first instance will hog the resources causing the second client to fail to load or cause both started clients to crawl at unacceptably low frame rates or just flat out ctd both clients.
This doesn't occur to all hardware combinations, and there have been several reports of multiple clients being run.
Personally, I've been using one copy of wine "taskset" to one cpu core and the main client via cedega "taskset' to the other core. (also manually cutting reported video memory in 1/2 via the cedega settings to keep the cedega client from slugging out the secondary client.

Yes it is. Mostly updating the servers need patching of your client.
But at the moment the servers are down. So your attempts will be unsuccessful until servers are back and running smooth and stable. Hopefully

Hmmm... but... but... the server is up... at least that is what EveMon tells me:) Server's up with 8 pilots online... Normally an autopatcher starts up to update the client, but it seems like it is either not in place yet, or not yet activated/updated...
