Surveying the EvE player base: What question do you want answered?

That is, only some subset of people will see the ad, and only some percentage of them will respond to the survey. It gets even worse if you don't have info what kind of percentages of people saw the ad, and what percentage didn't bother to answer. For couple feasiable ways: 1) Get CCP to put ingame-news add item akin to'Participate in Survey and win a billion' (and don't advertise elsewhere). 2) Get random sample of players (probably doable via character_id), and evemail them such request to participate. Quite large portion might be unsubscribed accounts, and a few might skip answering, but at least you'll know the percentages better. The sample bias here is going to be people who view xyz sites plus those that read the forums. I'll add the source of the participants to the presented survey results.
