Well here goes guys Handlin' the Torpedoes Part 1 5th Ensign Satalia DeMontagne had recently graduated from the Academy. Her first posting was the Navy Megathron "Monsignor". The Monsignor had a fearsome reputation of being the toughest BattleShip Class space vessel in the entire Constellation, and she was nervous and excited of her oppurtunities. (Great use of eve Canon) But noone could predict what would happen to her next. Satalia knelt hunched over in a Jeffries Tube. She was knee deep in the various wires and systems that operated her post at the Power Diagnostic System. She was trying to find out why the Power Diagnostic System was operating at only 87 percent effectiveness and had caught hell from the engineers in Engineering. " Fix the damn PDS you frackin' *** " they had yelled before she had fled the bridge. The pressure was on and she was determined not to fail. "How's the Power Diagnostic System running now Ensign?" a voice boomed behind her. She quickly turned her head as much as she could in the cramped passageway and caught a glimpse of Grand Fleet Admiral Bruce Le Killer crawling up behind her. " It looks like we will need some Conductive Polymers, but I can have it running up to spec in no time Sir" she stammered. " That's great to hear," he growled " I've been reading your profile and it seems your specialty in the Academy was Weapons Systems. The tears dried on her uniform and face at the realisation that the old age adage of " HONOR, DUTY, HONOUR " that she constantly heard at the Academy was dead. How will she handle this and ultimately lead the fiercest fighting force in the galaxy? Find out.....never.
