The Revelations 2.2.2 patch has been deployed and Tranquility has returned to service. If you have an issue after the deployment, please check the Known Issues page to see if the Dev Team is already aware of it and submit a bug report. If you are unsure of what has been changed in this patch, please take a look at the Patch Notes page. You can also take a look at the announcement thread for this patch.

We have been having issues with the bulk data download. We are working on a solution, but there is no ETA as yet.

Patch should also work with Wine and Cedega.
If you encounter Any Issues with this please post them here so we can work on them.

My cache backup isn't working either :S
Are you running with the LUA:OFF option? If so, and your client disconnects and restarts it stops using the LUA:OFF flag and reverts to using the cache in your user directory.
Restarting the client completely and running again from the right shortcut should fix that.

Some anti-virus programs are reporting the file redistd3donly.exe, which is located in the C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\bin\ directory (default installation), as a virus and preventing some members of the community from playing EVE after patching.
The AV programs flagging this file as a virus include: PCGuard from Virgin Media, F-Prot by Frisk Software, Iolo Antivirus, AT&T Internet Security Suite, and Verizon Internet Security Suite. Some of these programs allow the user to add exclusions, that is one work around that will allow you to play EVE until the software companies update their virus definitions. We do not recommend disabling AV software in order to play EVE.

As this is affecting a larger number of our players than first thought I have logged support calls with Ioio, F-Prot and PCGuard. I can not log for the others as they are bundled software provided by ISP's and the ISP demand I be a customer before they will talk to me.
If you are not using one of the above listed products and are suffering this issue then you will have to log a support call with them to advise them of the issue.
I will keep you advised of any responses I get from the companies involved.

In addition to the RedistD3DXOnly.exe file, the stdlib.ccp file located in the C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\lib\ folder is also being flagged as a virus. Please note that both of these warnings are false positives.

you use the french word since the english one is ***
I could have used arse, butt, hiney or a number of other names for the posterior, but thought derriFre the most fitting.

To those that are having the Antivirus issues.
We have made the primary file available for separate Download so that you do not have to download the entire client.

We are tracking this issue in this thread > Antivirus Issues
We have also heard back from Frisk (fix released today), Iolo (fix due today) and Virginmedia (fix pending).
Some workarounds are discussed in the above thread for those still having problems.

Originally by: Beetles Light Since the patch I have been having problems with my auto pilot (which I only use to tell me the next system to manually jump to). I don't seem to be able to use auto-pilot unless I am on one jump away. It appears that my onboard computer can't identify the path to a system.
This also appears to be a problem whenever trying to identify how many jumps to anything it comes up with something like 247154632 jumps.
Please try first to clear your cache and see if that resolves the problem.
