ok fair enough. however, if RONA is such an anti-pirate corp, why haven't i see them hunting anywhere? I mean most people know where m0o is just as well as where Techell is. Surely killing a few 10mil bounties wouldnt hurt your reputation....But ofcourse the miners are a much bigger threat to the galaxy arent they, so lets go and kill them...hhhhhookey...Just a prime example of cowardice...

rona-kia are currently in venal fighting a war against evol. u think they're going to leave the war and go to the other side of the galaxy to fight m0o while they have enemies in their own backyard?
btw i've seen rona-kia going after pirates and i don't even travel a lot.

Is it me, or do more have the feeling that Techell will be the next TTI?
as a side note: they also had dealings and agreements with SPVD when I was still part of SPVD

A question to Techell...are you interested in Stain region stations? Once Stain Alliance are gone we (CA) will have some stations available to rent. Please contact Xirtam from VOTF should you be interested.

Last I checked all the station in Period Basis have already been occupied by other corps. Hiring MOO to help take those station from other corps is pirating.
How can this be otherwise?

...it really isn't a big news that Techell have been funding and taking advantage of the work from pirate corporations. Work taken from honest pilots and corporations, kind of like being the funds that made all bad things happen.
The news...
..is that we (the rest of the unicerse) now have 100% proof, I don't put much trust in chatlogs but I do believe the screenshot, also because I got reports from G-Q/TPAR when all this went down. Techell and m0o fighting side by side to take the stations.
As anti-pirate I do condemn(sp?) Techell for their deep dealings with pirates. You can't blame someone for more or less accidentally selling a few BPCs or minerals to or from a pirate, but to HIRE pirates to do act of large scale and on going piracy and acts of agression and then lie and deny about it is probably worse then being a pirate (at least m0o don't deny it... when they are sober).
I however don't smell a new TTI 'scandal' because I don't think Techell have the good sense and moral to do what TTI did when they reorganised, went back to basic and now have a good and honest corp once again.
Techell have been puppet-masters from the beginning and there is no redemption in their greedy pitch black pirate hearts. They will probably keep on denying, believing we will forget that they are the worst kind of scammers, murderers and pirates..
P.S. Yes m0o, you are only puppets to Techell and they use you.. though you are GREAT fighters and pirates and have my respect for that, i can't say you are smart also trying to joke facts away.. only makes you look silly.. Go honest and start earning is on your own without taking what isn't yours to take. |

I don't have enough fingers, toes or other apendages to count the number of corps that pay off pirate corps to move through territory. Does this make them all priates??? Hell no, it makes the pirates first rate extortionists making a living off of others. It also makes the corps that pay the pirates kinda smart if they have the isk. But it does not keep them safe from all priates.
So, because Techell has deep pockets and maybe told you to get hosed when they wouldn't accept your deal you start frothing at the mouth about something you so obviously know nothing about. And what's to say you didn't make the whole flippin thing up?

If you can protect your crap than you have no reason so called "owning" them. The fact of the matter is we invaded dnsa space, destroyed their alliance, placated the locals, and took control of what we could enforce in the short time of 3-4 days. Now i understand that this may make you made b/c you suck, but no one ever held any territory by being a "good guy". Fact is, it was a business deal and everyone else is just jealous b/c we found a new way to make money and all the other nubs out there dont have enough balls or guns to do anything about it.

Just to correct you, TTI was a good and honest corp back then aswell, while I realise your scewed view might be somewhat different.
Btw the dealings we had with m0o way back were done with a nice clean futures trade which took m0o a couple days to understand before they ended that free pass for TTI ships, for the m0o member wondering when you had ever broken an agreement I would like to point at that occasion, although most likely you have long forgotten about it. TTI's later involvement with pirate organisations was born out of a need and a common understanding of who and what had just tried to stab us in the back, and even then there was no ISK transfers involved.
As for Techell and paying off m0o, who cares if they spend 1.5 billion on a station, it's not like it is alot of ISK to begin with, not to mention that m0o hardly are dependant on a 1.5 billion ISK amount. If you people feel it's not right just fly up there and take the station away from them. Its a business transaction, nothing more , nothing less. You get what you negotiate in the world afterall, not what you deserve...

There are no large corporations that only speak alot of hot air, like BIG that have any issues with m0o/techell deals.
1) They suck and can't do anything about it.
2) They are too busy with their own version of piracy.

People posting that they find the ethics of dealing with m0o questionable have every right to do so, just as Techell can make a deal with m0o if they so please.
The comment about this deal being made and likening it to selling booze to 3 year olds (or something like that) was very interesting.
In the real world you see corporations do dirty deals, we are seeing impeachments etc because to get the edge many have circumvented laws.
Now Techell didn't circumvent any law, however they are getting the public opinion against them. There are many such stories from real life, while doing something may be legal (or just not plain banned) it doesn't mean it's approved by society and if you engage in that activity you will reap the disdain of others.
If you make a deal you know is questionable to many in society, you better realize that yes, you will get stuff thrown at you.
Actions have consequences, even in EVE where corp thiefs can steal it all.
