I presume this payment is a rental...and you'll be asking them for another payment in X weeks. Its a slippery slope towards racketeering, as nothing is legally binding unfortunately. If Techell start making loads of cash from this venture, wont m0o think "we'll have some of that", and hold Techell's interests hostage?

If someone wants to impede ttchl's claim on these stations, they have recourse, they can attack m0o/tchl.

First things first
It's about having FUN.
(lets 'scroll' a bit)
Games are (supposed) to be fun.
EVE thankfully allows for a myriad of ways to have fun (thats the true beaty of EVE!!!)
Some like moo, likes to kill ppl.
And I respect them for beeing damn good at it.
(That respect doesnt hold for certain members who has to cheat to survive. Shi-zuko(sp) used the little logout trick tonight or he'd have been dead - Sorry just had to get that of my cheast, seeing how he had to brag about surviving in local afterwards - If you dont have what it takes, stay away and let the BIG boys do the (honest) fighting)
I respect Techell for beeing good at making money (they are arent they?)
That doesnt mean I have to *like* them.
Ingame I'm anti-pirate and I'll blast them into the next galaxy (if I can) given the chance.
Many of them got a nice little bounty as well
Beeing anti-pirate is not just about killing them (the pirates), it's naturally also about killing their 'supply lines'.
Common sense in warfare.
Techell has now been proven to be just such a 'supply line' - So of course they become the target of any anti-pirate corps as well.
Common sense.
Techell (and moo) saying it's just a 'business deal' doesnt really change a thing - Techell is still 'branded'.
And you all know what? That gives each part involved in this a 'goal' if you will.
A goal to strive for - a goal to feel proud about if succesfull in achieving it.
And - Having FUN doing so!!!
(Each ofc has his definition of fun - Which as I said earlier, is the beaty if EVE)
I'm personally having a blast.

Well its safe to say that Techell is now viewed in a different light.
I personally now consider you pirates. Simply cause of the fact that its a game and you are in cahoots with m0o. Who are branded as pirates. Which is fine by all means. But hey, corps that like to declare war on pirates need a new face every once in awhile :)

Wellà I wanted to stay as far away from this topic as possible... however, as we are already being brought upà let me say a few words:
TTI was at the TPAR-G station from day one. We started a friendship with the owners of the station and agreed to help in its defense. Sadly, due to the speed we went out there, our fleet mix was not idealà and several of my pilots had to run back to empire for different ships, etcà One day after I booted the ôSyzygy Threeö char from TTI, Moo shows up at TPAR-G. Coincidence? Sureà
I was on my way back to TPAR-G with 3 BSÆs (and a friend in her BS), when Moo launched their attack. I have a lot of respect for Mooà they are very good at what they doà bang, the station fell. Nicely done Moo, BTW.
Now the ôoldö owners of the station were offered a deal by Mooà pay us 1.5 billion and not only will we give you the station backà but weÆll NAP with youà you will then have free passage from TPAR-G to Gehià youÆll make a mint!
I told the ôoldö owners they had lost their minds to even think about it! Roughly, this is what I told them:
ôLook, if there is one person in all of EVE that you should listen to on this topicà itÆs ME If you sign that NAP with Moo, you will doom yourself and your corporation. I understand that from a purely financial standpoint, it makes sinceà you are loosing ships every day to Moo in A2 and the rest of the route to Gehià with this deal, you will avoid all of thatà and you will get the station back with all that entails, the bist, the crok, everythingà but trust me on thisà learn from my corporations pastà you sign a NAP with Pirates, you sign your own death warrantà Furthermore, IÆll walk awayà I refuse to let TTI have anything to do with this...ö
I was convoÆed by a member of the ôoldö owners. He told me that he just paid Moo 100 mil.. and would be making weekly payments until the 1.5 billion was paid offà I told him that I was sorry that he made that decisionà and goodbye. I had one of my guys up there close the office we hadà and we left.
Now here comes Techellà smart play ungh? 1.5 billion is cheap for a station with bist. 4 hops away? I donÆt think so when you are buying it from Moo.
You need to remember the past, lest you be doomed to repeat ità One of the largest corps in EVE has been funding Moo? Have fun with your war Techellà because it is surely coming your way.

look, let me try to explain my motive a bit more... some people are talking about right and wrong, but there is no such thing in this... I'm not saying techell did something wrong when they allied with m0o, I'm only saying that techell claims to be neutral all the time and they arent... and I think it's everyone's right to know what techell is up to... especially if it involved their business with pirates.... a few weeks ago, I found out that they were supplying another pirate corp with free ammo and equipment, saying 'keep the killing going, it's good for our business'... and I know that many people don't see this as a big deal, but I also know that a lot of people DO have a problem with this way of keeping your sales going.... it's like an undertaker hiring killers to get more clients....
and for the m0o people who are replying here, your replies are like anybody would have expected them to be, really...
techell has been branded now, and I hope they will have to pay the price for it, just like all the other corps that did the same as them in the past...
and for the motivation part, I'm VERY anti-pirate, and I wanted to get prove that techell cooperates very closely with pirate corps, and now, I've finally found it
