However it was left WAY to long at 100%. Not only that its currently 40%, This doesnt help the corp's at ALL. People Rat less with a higher tax rat, only generating less income for the corp. We need to identify patterns that we can exploit. For instance, I've noticed they are making many bookmarks around our gates and station to catch our snipers. I believe our counter to this is to use covert Ops as strike points instead of bookmarkes that are compromised. (don't lose those Cov Ops). I've also noted that once they see a target no matter how small they ALL swarm to it. my counter to that is to "bait" them with a small fast ship to a point while our snipers warp in 200km from the bait. Leaving them exposed with no bookmark to swarm to. Guys we are being hit with a long term strategic plan and campaign. We also need to keep applying strategy to the already excellent tactics that RMF has. I look forward to this. I hope I can get my ships out of that Station! That's my two cents. Hope it helps. I know, K-9 has more than 60 moons, that's a lot, and that's very annoying for us but we don't have other choice, if we don't want to have a pos siege every 3 months we have to put a tower in ALL, yes you read right, in every K-9 and 2-R moons, small towers with 2 guns, even only the tower would be good enough, but we have to anchor anything for good. This has to be done. This doesn't completely prevent a massive pos invasion but it would delay enough to organize a real and good defence. Enemies' haulers/freighters/carriers would be unable to easily jump in system, fly to an empty moon and just plant their *** towers in a minute. It does give us at least 1-2 days the time they put in reinforced and kill them if we don't repair before. During these 1-2 days enemies don't have comfortable pos to seat while others are camping stations and gates. These 2 days give us time to undock the capital fleet and heavy ships. It gives time to call our allies to move and coordinate with them. People, this must be our 1st, 2nd and 3rd objective from now. I know to maintain 60+ pos is going to give us a lot of more hardly work, supplemental efforts, much more fuel, many more mining ops, more empire run carriers, more iskà***** goonies ! But people, this is vital for our present and future. I know all of us are sick and tired of fighting goonies since 1 year, ok; be ready cause it seems we are going for 1 more, or longer. No worries btw, we can resist and win, be united, get on TS, ask for gang once online, respect orders from FC's, directors, help each other, be team spirit. Its not how much its gonna cost, its the getting it done, and how much time is needed to anchor and feed 62 towers. BoB is by far the most logisitically inclined alliance I know of, and even they wouldn't go that far. Something far more valuable for us to strive for, is constellation sovereignty. In that case, our enemies would have to spam other systems BEFORE K-9 if we assign it as the capital system. All things aside, we aren't left alone here guys, lets keep that in mind. I completely agree with that but a new outpost based on low moon count will be another base that is defencible like 2-r is with its low moon count. K-9 is always going to be nearly impossible to defend. There is nothing that can be done to fix this other than to remain in a good position if it does gets taken. I am simply stating there is no decent solution for the solar system. But we can strengthen the constellation as a whole making good on the mistakes of the past. We live in the equivalent of the DMZ in Korea or the Berlin Wall. We need to build accordingly. I would suggest starting work on a second outpost next time we get a few weeks of peace. Well, if you're so angsty over this, tell me something: 1) Why would you ally with people who are not willing to support you (as shown during the last weeks) against an alliance CLEARLY bigger than yours? 2) You had the means to know you'd be outnumbered if you tried. 3) You had the means to know you'd be betrayed or left behind as shown before. If in fact you had paid attention to our posts and battle reports instead of going "LOL BRAINDEAD GOONS HAHA WHAT CAN THEY DO", you'd have learned about what was going to happen with you and think ahead instead of counting on an alliance that has declared already their objective is to own all of EVE and shown time after time they're willing to sacrifice everyone to do so, including you. This is the Second invasion RMF has and we held up prety tight the 1st one which i earn no one counting the losses u had the first one RMF is not ex-ascn CORM is and we are proud to fight along side with them. Goons deserve credit for taking k-9 but its not goons alone dont forget R-A (real skilled) pilots and TCF (very good engagment tactics), Those for me were the decisive weight on this one.
