I have been asked many times my views on this, here they are, like it matters, but here is what i think is brewing.
F-E are pirates, and will always be pirates, them joining the biggest pirate alliance in the game, CA , has just confirmed they have no intention to quit their ways.
they will grow stronger in vale/tribute, and then when they get bored, they will attack venal with their CA buddies..... PA leaving them unhindered in this area could be a big mistake.
what CA get out of this is a foothold at the door to venal, everyone knows the CA and PA dont see eye to eye.
CELES have been attacked many times by CA members, and we have also attacked them, a CA corp declared war against us, but lost the will to fight, and retracted it.
to have these ppl sitting so close to venal means all it takes is one mistake, and a war will be started.
the ironic thing is, i trully believe EVOL will fight alongside PA, against this threat, so while we lose ships to eachother each day, the threat from the south gets stronger.
i respect many corps in the PA, and have made alot of friends, KIA, blades, DSIN, all are amazing PVP corps, but sometimes i think the PA wants peace TOO much . some ppl think im a loose cannon, and in some cases they think this of CELES. but i see us as ppl that look at the big picture.
these are my views, and NOT the corps(which must remain neutral at these times).
im sure i will b proven correct in the next few days/weeks.

The inhabitants of Venal will always be the most picked on in EVE, why? I don't know. Maybe the region is cursed after all...

Make no mistake, if the CA engages he PA it will be a massacre, we are always looking for targets and SA would love a break from the pressure so please dont give us an excuse to offer that to them.

Curse Alliance has endured much more than Venal has, the difference is Curse managed to finally topple their enemies and Venal has been squashed by theirs.

its not cursed its just to close to jove 
we do get the joveian sickness alot

Actually the merger is just an undercover diplomatic effort of the CA to bring peace to the EVE universe. As you say PA and EVOL will stop fighting and EVE will be a happier universe. We will keep ending conflicts in this underhanded fashion till there is no more fighting in EVE.

If i had my way, i would be hitting F-E with everything we had, while they are stocking up...
the EVOL war could be won using only half our forces, the rest should be attacking mining ops in vale and tribute.
EVOL dont have many guys in Venal, and are using hit and run tactics, with a little more organisation, they would be driven from this area.
i just dont want to come against an well equiped enemy in a few weeks time, that we left in peace knowing the threat would come in time.
and yes, peace is boring, war is fun.

Why would we need to go to venal? Evolution seems to be doing a fantastic job owning you.
Whys everything we do always gotta be about you you you?
What about our needs?
As I recall Curse gave us the riot act about piracy and we said ok, so...We dont pirate.

You want peace? so you join an alliance which attacks anyone it perceives as easy pickings? or anyone they dont like.
Makes sence doesnt it.
Afterall if I wanted peace, I would of course go and join an alliance which is at war with almost every other alliance.

ooooooooooo, now that is a boast, i'll give you some free advice here, why dont you try win it with everything you've got first. Then "if" you manage to completely own them and have a glorious kill ratio THEN you say/operate this. Untill then you shouldn't be claiming that or giving them ideas about bringing up more forces.

While I hate to toot EVOL's horn here but it seems as though they've pretty much laid a complete smackdown on Venal and you guys have lost a lot of ships (perhaps not CELES, but PA has).
You guys brag so much on forums about how uber pirate hunters/PvPers you are, why can't you get your **** together and take on Evolution and score some victories?

Maybe you should try negotiating with us to get a cease fire then.
A 3 way war between CA, PA and EVOL in PA space might be fun though

Actualy its quite hard to get EVOLS. Yester day 5 EVOL (3 megatrons, 1 scorp and 1 moa) Ran from a force of 3 CELEST.
EVOL might be good fighters, its just that i have not seen it yet. Who knows when, but i do hope soon.

I think EVOL is using some SPLOIT that has given them the skill "Advanced Evasive Manouvering", and they all got it at level 5.
The skill gives 20% decrease to logoff/logon times per level.

After having around 110 of CA's better-known pilots in my address book for months I've always been curious why an awful lot of them kept logging off and on every 10-15 minutes.

oh my, ur hatred towards eachother and myself sometimes clouds ur judgment.
PA can field 100 battleships at one time, no problem, will fielding this many ships win a war?, the answer is NO. EVOL are the kings of small group attacks.
all im saying, fighting one enemy, and ignoring another, could be a mistake.
in this game u must use tactics that mirror ur opponents, to not do this would mean defeat, small forces cannot be hunted down by larger forces, safespots and logoffs have made this so.
I am actually pretty poor at PVP, and would prob lose a 1v1 fight against a EVOL vet. PPL sometimes take what is written, and twist it with hate,nowhere have i ever said we would own EVOL, i always respect my opponent ....
CELES have lost 1 ship to EVOL, anyone thinking im posting here looking for an easy way out is a fool, im just showing ppl the threat will come from somewhere else.... if u cant see it, u are blind.
i think PA should be looking for an end to the EVOL situation(a corp that i have always respected) and should be puting all its resourses into tribute/vale, before CA get their teeth into it.
my views only, but i dont mince my words.
i WILL be proven correct.
