Tonight, Phalanx Alliance went roaming with a small 10 man wolfpack, And we found a Morsus Mihi mothership in a belt in WH-JCA, We engaged the target and locked it down. The Mothership pilot called in support (BS's and a Thanatos) but this was not enough to withstand the full force of our resolve.
Triumvirate were asked to help in the destruction of the said Mothership and of course they complied. (TRIUMVIRATE 4TW)
1xMorsus Mihi NYX DEAD
1xMorsus Mihi Carrier DEAD (support for nyx)
and some other stuff (bs's and stuff)

Awesome work dudes.
To also clear some things up:
It took our gang over 30minutes to reach the system.
NYX went down in about 5 minutes.
Yes..the thanatos did have a better tank than the nyx.
We didn't have more than 20 battleships with us at the time.
Local was smack free from what I saw. UL to shiva/MM/cole.

Well done guys, really was a good catch.
Too give an idea of how quickly the nyx went down, by the time the nyx was called primary I was five jumps out in a Megathron. By the time i was two jumps out it was dead.
Regardless, it just shows that noone is safe in EVE. Supercapitals in home Sov 4 systems can and have died :)

Funny fact: at one point during the whole thing I had to turn on the shieldbooster of my Hawk... it was when the NPC's respawned.
