That just can not happen if you are in a NPC corp and that is a Fact that i have tested on SISI Test server . The only way that may happen is if your in a player corp and your corp is at war with another corp. then it will take some time for them to kill the freighter and logging off will work im sorry to say. As for the players that are asking for slots to be put on the freighter i do not see why any player needs any thing put on the freighter at all. It works just great for what it was made for !

So the best way to not get ganked is to not fly a full freighter with many billions of cargo in it. This has been proven time and time again. Test it out on SISI to see what i am talking about. If you have been in a freighter on TQ and your ship was killed fast then its more like to be a bug.

You need to do some more research. Suicide ganking of freighters has been happening for some time now, there's even a video out there of one happening. Use the forum search feature or eve search to see for yourself. You can argue about tests and calculations all you want but the fact is it you're trying to tell people something is impossible when it's already been done many times.
