Geographically and tactically it is a much easier location to defend. Stopping Goon cold, making them eat their words and having them look like total fools, would be a major propaganda blow to Goon. BOB may indeed see it as worthy of a major show of force. If you were in any semi decent alliance you could replace BoB with the name of your own alliance but alas it is not to be.
