It is a sad moment in this game when former friends and allies come to distrust each other. Not to mention the lowlife alts coming out of the woodwork. A lot of you know me personally and know that I have Never lied or turned my back on a Friend or Ally in need, Even if we were down to our last set of cruisers we would charge into battle to help the above. In retrospect I have spent the Last FOUR YEARS defending RA in both speech and body. I Always had a HUGE spot in my heart for them and would not let anyone speak ill of them. The same for Goonfleet when they were young, We tried to help BOTH as a alliance and Ourselves as Stronghold where we could. Then last week right after my pilot gave the required salute in local he was attacked and lost his ship to RA? This broke my heart as Stronghold has ALWAYS been PRO-Red Alliance for years. and would have come to the Aid of any trapped RA pilot! We were not even given a apology for 4 years of friendship. The same with Goonfleet back in the old days when they were first starting out I PERSONALLY tried to help them out and so did Xirt! They are great people whom I had alot of respect for But now that they are Both huge Entities I think the Friendships of PAST are Blurred and CA and old Friends have become a Non-Factor. Alliances should help OTHER old and true friends in times of need not turn their backs on them nor deny them a chance to regroup and rebuild and rat hunt or whatever NOT tell them to (Single Pilot:Get out of the system all 36 belts are mine) . This is the part of the game thats saddens me the most as I personally would not allow my Pilots to do such a thing. What happened to Us Are the days of OLD and helping your trusted friends and allies out no matter what a thing of the Past here in EVE? Did we all evolve into greedy selfish players who only care about their own ISK wallets these days? I Personally apologize to all parties involved for my non participation in CA due to real life these past 3 months, I feel if I were still #2 back then things would have been a bit different. I Also wish we would put these differences behind us and become the great friends we were in the past ! Milano may be hot headed (But he is True Blue Loyal to CA)but just because CA is a shell of its former self does not mean they are willing to grovel at the feet of others either, You have to strike a balance and decide if Old Friendships are really worth destroying over a hot headed argument. Remember there is a lot of pride in the old CA/IMP corps so they wont take orders kneeling at others feet either Remember you can take everything a man has but you cant take their Spirit nor Pride (And this is exactly what Goons found out when they persevered and grew strong once again) Highest Respect to all our old friends Including RA and Goons and others and to our Sworn enemies BOB MC and others. I hope you can resolve this soon off the forums as men BOTH WILLING TO GIVE IN A LITTLE TO RESOLVE THESE ISSUES! CA didn't pretend to do that, we just wanted a stable HQ (away from the Sov. bs) to play OUR game. The fact is: CA was SHAFTED by you all, and I used to carry untold amounts of respect for RSF and friends until they failed to respect us as an entity, no matter how different. Lack of respect loses friends. As far as my current alignment is concerned, I'll shoot the ** outta BoB if they show their faces in GW/Curse, I realign myself to reflect where in-game I LIVE, BREATHE, AND FIGHT for MY existence, where the politics of EVE can kiss my ***** a$$. I hate how pervasive this alliance political drama is, that it can carry into NPC space. Be warned, the southern coalition is starting to become that which they hate the most, disrespecting and unappreciative of the foundations that assisted in their births. I'm disappointed in everyone in this game who is being dragged down from the righteousness that is friendship, honour, respect, and fun, all for the biggest e-peen fight of the god-damned millenium. I would leave this game, but it's the only one in the world that has forced me to think outside the box, and if I have to fight every single one of you destabilizing forces, I WILL.
