Hexxx Minmatar	Posted - 2007.10.08 11:07:00 - [1] Please read this entire post before you do anything!!! Deposits are always sent to the character "EBANK Ricdic". Do not open an account untill you have recieved a note or reply that says you are approved! Ok guys... The Board is hammering out the final decision on interest rates for checking (aka direct deposit) and savings. I have yet to active the transfer option between accounts but once the rates are finalized I'll be putting it in. We are still in a public testing period (thank you for those who have tested the system and gave feedback) but I expect our public testing period to end by the end of the week at the latest (maybe earlier). Please be advised that rates will probably be 1.5% per month for checking (you can withdraw anytime, interest compounded daily) and between 2.5% and 3% per month for savings. Please be advised that savings accounts will have restrictions on withdraws. The idea is to make sure that you have very quick access to your money when you decide to withdraw it, but one of the conditions for a higher interest rate is some restrictions on how frequently you can withdraw that money. EBANK is only one banking option, please see Fury Bank for other options, including higher interest ones. We will be entering "Growth Phase 1" which has a cap of 15 billion in deposits, or 250 million isk per account. We are allowing 60 accounts and if you deposit 250 million isk, you don't have to worry about interest that you earn going over 250 million. We're just limiting deposits is all. If we do find you make a deposit with a balance already at or over 250 million, we will wire the money back to you. EBANK expects to continue through more growth phases, expanding deposit limits and accounts as time goes by and we can be 100% sure that we can meet our interest obligations for our account holders. That is our HIGHEST priority. EBANK has been designed from day one for saftey. I have multiple methods for auditing ALL account activities and a permament record of EBANK Ricdic's journal is stored in our database, updated roughly every 60 minutes. Ricdic and I will be handeling a majority of the funds for now, I will update our information if more money managers become active. EBANK will still be worked on from here on out, it is typical that there may be temporary and short term service interuptions. Advisories will be issued for longer term periods of potential service outages. Once we have 60 accounts, I will update this thread to advise that we are closed to new accounts. New accounts created after this time will have deposits returned and their accounts closed. Please either reply to this thread with, "Requesting an account" or you can EVE-Mail me or you can e-mail me @ [email protected]. All accounts and account balances are confidential. Account holders are highly encouraged to participate in discussions if they so choose on EBANKS forums as well. http://www.eve-bank.net/forums/ You do not have to use your account username, but you are encouraged to do so unless you have some serious reservation about your privacy. If you do have questions related to accounts, please post them here, discussion of EBANK in general and commentary on EBANK can be better addressed in other threads. I would ask that we just keep this one clear and reserved for account related business only. Again, I will update this thread with information on how many accounts are left. Since deposits/withdraws and accounts are (for now) linked, the character name that you use to reserve an account is the ONLY one that can deposit money into that account. So, it's fine if your alt opens an account, but your alt is the only one who will be able to deposit and withdraw into that account. This could change in the future when we introduce advanced accounts that can be shared with different permissions. Consulting, IPO Template, and Stock/Bond definitions.

I already received an evemail back from EBANK Ricdic, and I only sent 1 mil isk. I have been following the threads and chose a nice even number to start out

If you sent isk to EBANK Ricdic as part of the testing period, AND you reserve an Account (in the same character name), you don't need to worry about activating again. I should stress that activation is automatic. Any deposit amount, even 0.01, will trigger an account creation. However, daily interest payments will be wiped out once testing concludes. When EBANK launches, everyone starts out on the same foot in terms of interest. Daily interest will resume on your principle deposit sum at that point. I'll send another 100. We are still in public testing mode, this is just a list to reserve your account for when we launch (this week or the beginning of next). You can send isk, but interest rates won't kick in "for real" untill launch. Right now is still just a testing period. By the way, thank you to everyone helping us test everything!
