And let me tell you, rampant ignorance sets my teeth absolutely on edge. As it is most likely that I will have to do some form of customer service duty, because I gave a commitment to the project, I'm attempting to avoid future hassles for you and me. Im not looking for conflict and in retrospect I should have looked a bit closer however if your attitude is common for Customer Service then I really question the longevity of this venture. Nothing sets -my- teeth on edge more then an arrogent Customer Service Representive that says things like "You don't read goodly. Please no deposit" to someone who is interested in investing their money, even if it is essentially play money. Yes I should have read the entire post more closely, but if you find my simple questions an annoyance wait until you are dealing with full blown issues.
I hope to be proven wrong here, but I would serously drop the attitude you have shown me when you are trying to launch a service that handles other peoples money.

Seriously though, EBANK has been discussed repeatedly for quite some time. A majority of the Directors who are on the project are some of the most well known and highly respected names in the Market. So when you ask those sorts of questions, without having done a bit of research....it can irritate people.
If you are new to the markets, then welcome aboard, but definintly make an effort to do your own research. You'll earn points with the regulars around here (of which Shar is definintly a member) and gain some respect for your leg work. The Market forum isn't like the other forums; it is unique.

Having already handled two major multi-billion isk financial projects I can say my attitude is just perfect for what I need it to do. While on paper it would be nice to say that EBANK will be open for everyone in Eve the reality of the situation is that there is going to be limits. EBANK can not meet its promised interest payments on 5 trillion isk and I suspect that is not all the isk in game. So, while this may sound elitist, there is a limit to participation. We state no obvious rules or standards on participation however I'm sure my fellow directors and members of EBANK would sincerely prefer people who spend the slightest bit of time reading up on what depositing means, heck even how to deposit would be nice, instead of having to dread dealing with someone who pops off at the mouth simply because there is a keyboard attached to your computer. Excuse me for being new to the market aspect of the game. I said this reminded me of something I had heard, a scam that cost players quite a bit of ISK and then proceeded to ask for information and then said in retrospect I should have looked more into it. I am not looking for my rear to get kissed or anything but I damn sure am not interested in getting walked all over by someone with a short temper.
I do apologize to EBank for saying that im reminded of a scam when I initally read this. I should have known better then to say something of that nature but I would imagine the damage is done.
However Shar, you decided that instead of correcting me in my ignorance you go straight for the throat and proclaim you didnt want my buisness and now regret that I am using an Alt to speak my mind as you wish to engage me in combat if I am reading your post correctly. So tell me, would you use customer information to your advantage in matters such as this or am I the exception? If a customer gets on your bad side are you going to threaten to hunt them down in game to get your way?
I made a comment out of ignorance and later signed up after looking at what your group is offering, what is your excuse for your actions?

Perhaps Shar, it'd be best to allow the other founders of this particular venture to handle the questions from those new to the market. You could stay in the background jousting those who aren't sensitive to your comments. Every organization needs a jerk... true. But you definitely don't put them in the teller's window. And they certainly shouldn't be allowed to answer the company phone

It's just 1 account, but you don't need to send any substantial portion of money at this point. Frankly, sending 1m is more than sufficient, as we are still testing and it probably isn't wise sending large amounts of isk at this point.

Don't send any major deposits at this time. The bank is not accepting full on depositing just yet. This is just reserving your account because there is limited spaces. Oh... and some testing may be done. Check the op for details.
