Looks like their not going to reduce the amount you get for refining. Instead they're going to make it so you simply can't carry modules.
Go check out the 100m3 ship modules on the test server. 4000m3 cap modules.

This makes Barbs hauler cry-if it happens. Possibly just testing the water.

I think you're missing the fact that this "feature" will make it into Rev3.

So you just bought 6 guns, a burner, and some ammo. Congrats you now need a hauler to pick it up.
What about keeping spare gear in your hold for refitting at a carrier? That feature's gone.
You don't see a problem with that?
Bloody hell CCP just nerf the refine on un-named T1 and leave named with the same refine and be done with it. Problem solved. This change is way over the top.

Especially when the correct way to nerf it is to introduce "realistic" manufacturing waste.
RL analogy, because Eve community DEMANDS such things. A mobile phone weighs 65g, and is the size of a mobile phone. It requires 75Kg of raw materials to produce a 65g phone.
Finding a mobile phone in a car wreck doesn't make it 100 metres cubed. Reprocessing a mobile phone doesn't yield 75kg of anything.
oh noes, rising prices. Well perhaps if people would stop gabbing about the Eve economy like it was in anyway realistic then perhaps you could see that they can just ramp factor X to change problem Y. Since there is no fractional reserve accounting in Eve, the economy is expanded inline with the theory of Abra-Ca-Dabra! instead of economics.
Meh anyway. It won't happen. I'm already asleep, you can have the last word.

its called a 'test' server, not everything makes it in full swing to TQ, and if it does, im sure there will be mass whineage posts like this one about it, so ccp will un-nerf it, and everybody will be able to refine/reprocess crap to beat eve mechanics.
4km3 for cap modules sounds about right given the size of them and the size of the cap, im not endorsing it, but it just means 1 more freighter op during the week.. or.. hey.. wait a second.. buy the 1m3 bpo, and make it? holy crap! i think i just won eve!

Who cares about looting? With this change shopping will be upgraded to a logistical operation. The days of bopping over and grabbing a few things are gone. You can fit 4-5 modules in a BS. Yeah you can't carry all your weapons.
How do you fit for travel and then refit for combat? You can't.
Now rather than moving minerals being a logistical nightmare moving _anything_ is a logistical nightmare.
Yeah that's much better than nerfing refine rate.

If you have taken the time to just scan the thread in the developer forum, you would have noticed this:
Originally by: CCP Chronotis What your seeing on sisi is just placeholders with a generic volume increase applied to around seventy modules, but in most cases it will not end up being that high (if changed at all) with the exception of some special cases. The more finalised changes will be put in over the next week after which we can get better feedback. We realise that the information flow process is out of sync with the static update. Most of the data your pulling from sisi should rightly of been preceded with blogs and posts giving the big picture which is our bad and something that will improve after kali 3 with changes to how we update the static. We can make sure changes only go out when they are ready to prevent the crystal ball effect which none of you should be subject to and for that I apologise that your seeing stuff in its 'in development' phase rather than 'ready for testing/feedback' phase.
There, facts and stuff. Source

Then you should probably wait and see what the developers are going to change the actual size of the modules to before protesting it, considering it's been specifically stated that those volumes are literally just placeholders. ------------ Whiners - Unite! | Posting and You Tarminic - Forum Warfare Specialist. |

As I already stated no.
CCP needs to grow a pair and say "We don't like mineral compression we're nerfing it." Then they need to nerf refining of unamed T1 gear. You do a conditional on the metalevel then reduce output. Simple. Elegant. By leaving named untouched they don't hurt mission runners. It's also impossible to miss an item with this method.
Instead they're adjusting all these numbers up. Then maybe adjusting them back to normal. Or maybe to something else. That methodology is bloody stupid. Who ever did that needs to pull their head out of their ass. Why make 2 changes when you can make one? What if an item is forgotten about? CCP has let changes slip through, that weren't meant to, on multiple occasions.
I read the damn test forum. I read the damn thread. I read the damn gold bars post. I like CCP. I think they're doing great things. But that doesn't buy them a pass when they do something stupid.
This fix is stupid. It's the same as what they suggested before but now it makes moving things harder. The way they're implementing it is stupid. More people than us Test forum readers need to be made aware of this change.

I have a solution: screw the Rorqual and this "fix". It's not worth making Eve less enjoyable for ratters/producers/missions runners/traders etc.
Definately not a good idea.

Hey maybe this is where you are going wrong, The fittings for your BS dont go in it, They are supposed to go on it, in the H/M/L fittings slots on your ship, that show on the "Fittings" screen.

What is the problem here? it's on the TEST server. It's there to be TESTED on the TEST server. The gold par post even says 'TEST' several times. i hope your noticing the use of the word TEST.
and CCP can do whatever the hell they want on the TEST server, make the frigate require the titan skill for all i care, its called TEST server for a reason, to TEST things.
If it was to be implemented on TQ, common sense says DEV BLOG, then you can whine your ass off all you want.
