Well the dev from that other thread somewhere down there linked to this press release, which talked about the release of Rev III, which is apparently now named Trinity (oh yea.. that wont cause any confusion at all :p)
At the end it says its coming out this winter. Winter is late december (20/21/22), wasnt this supposed to be out in november? :(
Btw this isnt a whine, so dont go flaming me. I just want some confirmation, even though i wouldnt be surprised if it did get delayed >.<

Yep.. im praying it didnt get delayed.
Only reason i even reactivated my acct this early was to train up for the marauders and to see Trinity 2.
No hard feelings though, if it is delayed.. cant really blame CCP if they wanted to polish their expansion more to avoid the massive amounts of flaming trolls after every patch.

You forgot most devs live in Iceland. Winter there starts like late September, and ends around June..

Rev3 = Kali3 (because "Revelations" was codenamed "Kali" before release).
Trinity was always the name of the graphics engine.
We are now getting "Trinity II" (as in "tech two").
Winter in the northern hemisphere (temperate areas) officially starts at the winter solstice, which is the 22nd of December. But as somebody pointed out, you probably can say it's already "winter" in Iceland.
However, that doesn't mean Rev3 can't come before that date... so, yeah, unless we get an official delay, I'm still hoping for late-November, early December.

I thought Trinity was the new Graphics improvements and engine, with additional fixes.
Revelation III, is still slated for november with more of regular updates, and parts for the next generation graphic engine release.
I could be wrong, but it looks to me like Trinity is the new update that devs were talking about in parallels to Revelation III, just two different expansions.
They did mention that they would like to present more frequent, smaller patching, vs large, infrequent releases.

Yes, there will be manual download options available, including both the classic install and the full install, as well as the application patch from Revelations II and the content patch from the classic version to the full version.
We're writing a dev blog to answer all these questions in one place on how we will upgrade to EVE Online: Trinity.
(It's not going to be called Revelations III, the press release went out this morning.)

I am confused.
If Trinity is Revelation III, then what the hell are we getting in November, and if we are not getting anything in November, why did I invest in all of those silly decryptors, hoping to profit by gauging prices, I would like to know. 
Anyhow, last week was very confusing for me when it comes to CCP making sense, looks like they have allot of stuff cooking, in allot of pots, and I sure hope that the Dev blogs will pour out SOON to clarify things for us.

edit: suppose I should be constructive:
Revelations III is Kali3 which is the upcoming expansion, there has been no information suggesting a delay.
Trinity II is the update to the graphics engine that is linked to but not directly a part of the actual Rev III update.
"Ambulation" which is walking in stations will be released following this at a currently undisclosed future date.

Read the press release. Kali 3, aka Rev 3, is renamed to Trinity. I know the graphics engine is Trinity 2, which is why i said "(oh yea.. that wont cause any confusion at all :p)" in my OP.
Anyway, i just want some info, the lack of a meaty dev blog about trinity 2 has me worried >.>;;

I wouldn't worry to much right now as they have been still saying in the most recent dev blogs that its still slated for 'This' November.
The Press release was for both the Graphics update and rev 3.
All they did was rename Rev 3 to Trinity, thats it so far.
but then again it is CCP so dont get your hopes up.... I would not be very shocked if they changed the release date of Rev3/Trinity to Summer of 2008.

It could also very well be just that. We might just end up getting the T2 game engine in November and Rev3 in dec/jan. Adding in the new game engine me be all ready to go, but stuff they want to add in to the game as content maybe not. Im fine if they break them up into two releases, if its for the sole reason of making sure new content is added bug free or at least with the least amount possible.

the other might be:
winter as in Q4 - which is quite often interpreted this way
regarding trinity and kali and rev and all that stuff...
perhaps the poor guy who was writing the article got confused when hearing so many codenames and just mixed them up ?
