Pacific time is is GMT-8, London is GMT (according to my windows clock?)
So eve time minus 8 hours equals your time. practice making the conversion in your head and it will become second nature.
Also handy when you want to see something like the Alliance matches or Fan-fest broadcasts.

join the military, and you get to learn the life of time conversions. IE. Afghanistan if i remember right GMT + 4.5 Iraq +4 or 5 after that everything gets easy.

It's very simple. In summer you're -7 hours and in winter you're -8 hours. Daylight saving is November 4th so when this day comes you'll go from -7 to -8. In spring you'll go back from -8 to -7. Some countries in Europe (UK for example) also change their clock just like USA does, so to them you'll almost always remain at same time difference (for UK you'll almost always be -8 as in summer they live by BST which is GMT+1). EVE clock does not change with daylight savings however so it's -7 right now and past Nov 4th it'll be -8 and end of March it'll be back to -7.

The server time is GMT, not British time.
When you are in daylight saving time, as you are now, you subtract 7 hours from server time for your time. When not in daylight saving you subract 8 hours.

Not eve time specifically, but GMT, which is what the server is on: www.onlineconversion.com

Eve goes on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), it is fixed on this time and does not bother with such things as dailight savings or the like.
GMT is the only standaqrd time there is, all other times are based on GMT and are usually read as GMT+X or GMT-X.
To find out where you are simply check wich time zone you are in and apply the modifier.
California for example is in GMT-8. Remember to take dailight savings if aplicable into account.
If you want to know more simply search for GMT on the web.
The US uses 6 different "times", eastern time, central time, mountain time, pacific time, alaska time and hawaii time (please note the logic at naming one cental when its not central in any way :).
Bah, lets make it simple follow this link.

lol I love all the answers to this question.
Enter eve. Look at the time. Exit eve. Look at the time. Subtract your time from eve time. There you go.

You're starting off very poorly. Currently you're in PDT, not PST. PDT is Pacific Daylight Time, because you're in Daylight Savings Time for a few more weeks.
PST is Pacific Standard Time.
If you confuse the two, you could end up in trouble playing Eve.
I used to get It. Then It changed. Now I don't even know what It is.

Yes, they are in London but they run on UTC.
As such they never, ever, change their timezone. This is true of every modern computer FWIW. Even those we run as personal computers. They all run on UTC all year round and only make localisation adjustments when they have to talk to humans. -- (Battle hardened industrialist)

Eve time=UTC. There are dozens of ways of doing it. IMO it should be fairly automatic. UTC is the central point around which all other clocks are set. All you have to know is what timezone you live in. You can also make a test post to the forum and see what the forums say.
If you are arranging a rendezvous then think in relative terms. First off work out the interval (number of hours until the agreed time) then add it to your local time. -- (Battle hardened industrialist)

Well..sorta. Actually GMT!=UTC but it's pretty close. If you want to be confused look up UTC in Wikipedia

Someone is making this about 50 times harder than it needs to be. Look at the time in Eve. Look at the time wherever you are. Do basic 2nd grade arithmetic. Ta-da!
