Heh, lovely. Tried to switch characters to one with a different skill set so I can actually have some fun... and I'm stuck "getting characters."
Looks like back into the Queue for another 2 hours.

Just a warning and a suggestion to everyone:
I logged in with my main and only the skills I did NOT have in TQ were maxed out.
The skills I had in TQ were the same. So I had Titans level 5, but had no warpdrive or jumpdrive or whatever skills. Basically it was same as TQ.
Anyway, the GM in help channel suggested to create a whole new character which should have all skills maxed. But, it requires another 240+ queue spots.
So don't expect too much.
Other then that, there was like 30 capitals fighting in perimeter, my raven got bbqd by a nighthawk and soon after that I got d/c. Yey :)

Question: If I get podkilled, do I lose my skills? Or are they perma secured in a way? Because the highest skill clone I could find is sigma at 92+ million... O.o;

Switch the databases and put TQ to Sisi for a couple days, and Sisi over to TQ if they really want to stress test anything like this.

They are stress testing SiSi, not TQ or Armageddon. I'd imagine it would be too dangerous to do something like this on TQ, where everyones data could be lost in some weird bug or human error.

They have no need to stress test SISI, as it's a pet project, they already know it can't handle even a 10% load. :)

Biggest one was in US Homeland Security department, where everyone on their mailing list got 1million+ emails because they routed replies wrong.

Server seems to be running smoothly now @ 700 players. We are still increasing the number of users. The server will be left online for the rest of the night, but will go down sometime in the morning Icelandic time.
