Tri only recently (relatively speaking) became strong enough to take and hold space. Insurgency are quite new and could probably take space if they wanted to. Its just a case of creating an alliance with the right people and direction, being organised and patient. The main thing I think it comes down to is reputation and proving yourself, if a corp who has proven themselves at what they do and have that reputation someone like celes in insurgencies case.. it gives you the foundation to attract corps to join your alliance. So if you wish to create a big and strong alliance it must be made up of strong corps... prove that and you will attract more of them imo. The space is there and the mechanics are there just need someone to step up and put the leg work in to make it happen.

Then the neighbour maybe wasn't prepared for that or basicly are worse pvp'ers than the invaders. What happens? They call their friends of course. You are saying that 0,0 is to "small" and that small alliances have hard to get INTO 0,0. Why dont just give everyone the same amount of space so you all can be happy, well as long you are playing a mmorpg game you will be playing with REAL PEOPLE. This will not happend, people are greed and in time they will try to get a bigger part of the cake. At the same time imagine if it was easy to get into 0,0, how boring the game would be. What make this game intressting is that you claim something of your own, something someone alse want and that you never know when a bigger fish will come for you. Giving access to 0,0 for everyone and make it easier for everyone will kill the game. So what you should do is to figure out how to get better and stronger. For your information the alliance members count is just BULLSH*T, look at us we are fighting an alliance that is twice as big as us and atm we are winning. what you need to find is dedicated pilots and build something to work with. ps! Any alliance founded today with new players could become a succesfull spaceholding alliance within one year. Eve is about risk/reward amongst many things and if you want something, take it. It can be hard work but you sure as hell will gain respect from your enemies alot more by fighting and giving it some than running away crying that it isn't fair. 0.0 has been forged by war and it shouldnt be any other way imo. See some space you like, draw up some plans, grow strong, build up your cap fleet and reserves, maybe even get some mercs planned for it as well and strike and strike hard. Or claim a little bit of 0.0 npc ( for newer empires) and gt used to pos stuff/ mechanics, try assaulting a few peoples pos and see hw it goes. Seventy god damn eight is your problem, of course on a server this large you are the little guy, of course you can't take the great truesec systems off of the big boys. Give it time and build up friendships and numbers, you are fooling yourself if you think you deserve/could/should be able to take stations off of people at this point, give it time and keep growing and you can do it, but in the mean time this just makes you look like you have an overdeveloped sense of entitlement.

Exactly Goonswarm would sooner fight amongst itself than sit around in peace. The only entity that has a stated goal of controlling all of 0.0, and Empire, is BoB.
