So how many RAGoons does it take to invade RIT?
BoB used TAOSP to do the job. At the time TAOSP had about 10 active players...
Of course it was ASCN defending.

Well, 25 black ops people effectivly locked them down in the triangle for a ... month or so was it? But to actually go through and reinforce all // destroy most PoS's in the triangle in under a week takes a bit more :P
Plus, you're acting like RISE tried to defend when we went in to blow everything up =/ Sitting afk in stations != defending.
Back on topic: that was awsome.

Is RISE still holding sov in the RIT triangle coz its looks like that on the map. But from the forum I hear its allready fell. When will they loose the stations and who will get their space?

My understanding is that it takes a week for sov 4 to break, and sov 4 needs to break before we can attack RIT itself. The surrounding areas have burned / are burning, but we can't shoot RIT itself yet. Also I think as long as you have constellation sov, systems will appear as yours when in fact other alliances can have system sov, which is what determines ownership of stations. I've probably got something wrong, but this isn't too far off.
For those of you unfamiliar with sov mechanics...

Kinda...by the time the fight made it to the RIT area ASCN had already disbanded for the most part. What was left were a handful of corps that stuck it through to the very end a la alamo. Even pre-sov4, they did a really good job at it too despite the odds against them.

One station system has been completely cleared, another will be clear by the end of today, and RIT will still be another 4 days or so before sov 4 breaks

Let's be realistic here. By the time TAOSP showed up in RIT, ASCN had about 10 active players. And no capitals, so we couldn't even kill their POS. We made a fair effort at killing the crazy sensor damping recons they were flying most of the time, got a few of them. But we couldn't touch the carriers so they could just camp RIT station all day.

Rise packed several of their towers full of stront, giving them FIVE (5) days of reinforced time. Which is pretty ********. I'm hoping some patch shrinks the stront bay.

Yes and of course peoples unwillingness to engage the MS (pre-nerf) that pretty much lived on the RIT station undock point had nothing to do with the massive blob of bobbits in AZN that could be down in RIT long before a dread could get out of seige mode and what would be the point of engaging the MS with any less than that?

There was a time where you could drop enough POS and get the system right after downtime.
That's why invasions in the past were easier/faster and pretty much without challenge. It's a whole new game today.

I sometimes wonder if convoys of bobbit haulers cross each other's path in Empire, as they go from North to South and South to North.

The 5 days of stront thing is a bit silly and is just drawing out the territorial wars. However, all the towers seem to come out of reinforced in my most active times. 
In the end 5 days of stront is just costing rise a lot of fuel but is buying them time to evacuate. The fuel amount is really taking the pressure off them to act and kills any potential exciting fights that would make their retreat noteworthy.
I agree I don't have the features to be a holoreel star. Quote:
