They were brought over from Oregon after a lady was charged with animal abuse. We received over 150 dogs (from one person). I took a peek the other day and now I wish I hadn't because it was just sad seeing the shape most of them were in. If you look at conditions that many livestock deal with it certainly borders on cruelty (if they raised dogs like they do chickens or transport cats like they do cows those people would be thrown in jail).
