Reading thru the forums, which I do often, and I swear, sometimes this C&P one is more fun to read than actually playing the game, someone mentioned "...in EvE one rarely ever gets revenge on another".
While true, it does happen. I thought it would be fun to read some short stories from those to were able to get their revenge.
I'll start.
At about two months old I went snooping around in lowsec in a cruiser. I was quickly jumped on and popped AND podded.
I convo'ed my killer and gave him the GF, even though it wasn't, I was a sukin' noob and he was about eight months old in a BS. I began the "please, please teach me how to be a big bad piewat like you, I'll even give you five million ISK". That got his attention and we negotiated a bit and came to an agreement.
Lessons ensued, and, over about a week and a half, taught me to scan for victims, gave me pointers on fittings, etc, etc. Then we headed for lowsec. When we entered the first system I started convo'ing any known bigger-badder pirates I saw in local, quickly explained my need to see my new "friend" in his BS podded and asked if they could help. Offering a quick "ransom without the trouble" if they would pod him and let me go.
Didn't take long before I had a gang of pirates taking me up on my offer.
I explained to my newly hired help he was scanning from safespots. So as soon as we dropped out of warp in a SS I quickly left our gang, pirates invite to theirs. Before my victim could get a "Hey you seem to have dropped out of......." out I MWD in a random direction, whip my view around just in time to see four-five ships warping in on top of him and the pretty lights of pew-pew-pew and exploding battleship.
I warped off to hug a station just in case the honor feature was broken and I was intended to be popped also when the pirate gang-leader conv'ed me.
He stated they were getting bored having a hard time finding a target/victim when I first conv'ed him. He said I provided them a bit of entertainment, they got his pod and were able to extract a nice bounty from him but since we already made a deal, they podded him anyway explaining he had already paid my "kill-fee" for me plus some.
SWEET!!
Revenge obtained for a cost of the five million paid for my "lessons".
