Seriously. You guys are making me sick. All these players complaining about a POTENTIAL CHANGE in the way carriers operate are worse than any other whiners that have existed in this game. If a ships that can hold more than five drones in its drone bay cannot control more than 5 drones, why the hell should a carrier be different? Is it REALLY that big of a deal? Do you really think that a carrier should be able to pwn anything it sees solo? Carriers should be able to tank a 5 man gang, but should take a while to destroy them. And you know what? Here's what I think. I think that carriers and dreads should not even be able to fit armor reps or shield boosters. I think that all cap ships should rely on other ships to keep them alive. So if you're flying a carrier, then the only way you can get some armor back is if your buddy in a carrier next to you starts repping you. All Capital ships should be completely reliant upon other ships to survive. No capital ship should be able to exist without it's support gang.
