Has to do with departments and corporate structure, delegation of duties and all that jazz. You want us other people off your forums while the design team comes up with a new idea and post it ASAP since this change is actually affecting people? But that argument doesn't take into account lag or the fact that someone in a 200k isk frigate can sensor dampen you where you can't lock your gang mates in order to repair. These arguments are clearly from people who NEVER have had 200+ or more people in a fleet action. Sorry, get some experience dealing with 500 people in system and tell me exactly HOW you are going to be able to help out your gangmate when he needs it and then argue with the same proposal Having said that, I don't think the new dev should be roasted so much because people should come up with new ideas all the time and not be discouraged from doing so. But when a major proposal like this is made that effects long time players (just ask any ex-SWG player how we felt with the changes to THAT game and you get my drift) that fundamentally changes something, we tend to get very upset about this. And tbh it's best to be vocal about things that we find undesirable, especially when a vast majority agree with it. I can understand the needed changes if lag is the issue. I would happily accept 5 fighters as long as I get large damage mods for them ala the first drone nerf where they took away 5 drones, but made drones deal out twice as much damage. That seems fair. But if they want to get rid of all the MS in low sec camping gates, well, who in the hell really complains except nuubs (who should learn from what happened and not repeat it again like TRUE humans) or lazy people? See now, you're using examples that will no longer be as valid after these changes come in. If they come in. Sensor dampeners and such modules are being changed too, if half of the people that are trying to affect design spent some time familiarizing themselves with the intended game mechanics after this next major patch they would see that they are not quite as horrible as they think. There are many factors here that people are not seeing yet. So we wait, and see what the feedback is when people have seen everything instead of just a glimpse.
