With every new addition Amarr get shafted. We have been waiting for years for our 'Oooommppfff' and still NOTHING. The only chnages offered us were Khanid Mk II, a total waste of time for all true Amarr who have specialised in lasers. To add insult to injury, you propose those pieces of **** in Rev 3, the Paladin being the ultimate insult.
So as its obvious to anyone with half a brain that you don't give a toss about those who fly Amarr ships, why not just erase them from the game altogether and let people redistribute their skillpoints.
Seeing as you have backed down over your Carrier changes, I figure its time you took a long hard look at the Amarr race and come to a decision on just what the point of them is anymore.

yes its sad, and I hope to hear a lot of upset Amarr players at Fanfest bring it up on the floor.
Untill then, train Amarr and make them work - after you have played a race for a few years do you truly appriciate their strengths and weaknesses.

the ammar have the highest dps in the game.
it's true!
the problem is armor resistances, without trying you may be tanking for ammar.
but pure number wise, and with changeable tracking and optimal range, the ammar are sick dps monsters.
anyone that reads any ship profiles will see that the dps is always the highest.
and the cap can be hard to keep up. Basically sane ammar people feel that ammar ships need more

cargo space.
something to make them feel like they have more cap and not less cap becuase the weapons fry it on some ships.
all said they still have the highest dps.

With relatively tiny skills learned I was passively tanking lvl3 missions and I had so much cap in my disposal that I did not really manage to put a dent into the reservoirs..

I agree delete Amarr as they have some of the worst ships within game Pilgrim was awsome till the devs nerf it. At Fanfest some on pod the Devs for me

Well, I jokingly said we'd get a cap and RoF bonus and we did get a cap and RoF bonus.
Worked so well for the Abaddon, why not do it again? (spot the sarcasm)
Khanid Mk II is a blast - Damnations are down to about 100 million again as the changes truely fixed it! (spot the sarcasm II)

It's a bit stupid to ask them to delete an entire race.
I agree though Amarr always get shafted and I have seen no "ooomph" since it was first said!
I also get angry with the lack of responce from CCP on the whole situation, I have been waiting YEARS for something decent to come out of the Amarr race yet I have not seen ANYTHING that has improved the race AT ALL
They are the LEAST popular race and it will continue you be that way until the Dev's decide to grow a bit of backbone and make some drastic changes
because this is what its all avbout really... the dev's DO NOT have the backbone to make a major change to lasers they worry to much about balance
I would rather over power amarr for a couple of months then balance them again JUST to get the race back to where it should be
Pre nerf this - pre nerf that....it just doesn't work because once pre-nerfed they always seem to stay that way

jut made a minmatar alt, starter skills in a (ok ok pimped) rifter. this is just  overpowered!
remember i put 15mil in fitting into this rifter out of boredom.

you will still run out of cap with maxed skill in those areas. it makes no odds

they cant delete amarr then they create a new "worse" race.
The majority of people still fly other races.
So now when a caldari pilot thinks he could use a lil pvp oomph he looks at amarr and thinks..well ok...i dont have it THAT bad.

The lot of you are fools. Why train something you think is broken? Are you anticipating a buff thats never coming? time to live in the now and start training things you know will be usefull like anyone else. I started as caldari, they arnt a particularly blessed pvp race... what did i do? cry about it and ask for a buff? no i speced in gallente minmatar and soon to be ammar.
AND TBFH... ammar is a great race to fly. get off your high horse and use the missile ships. they are insane.

Well, first off, if amarr get oompf, they get it, i'm happy. If not, i'm still happy. Amarr pilots are amarr pilots because they ARE amarr pilots. It's somewhat like being klingon, it's an honor thing
Anyway, i some time ago suggested that amarr get somewhat of a "special" lasers. These being, precision lasers that can target modules and cause HEAT damage(when targetting modules) and possibly offline them.
Imagine an amarr alpha strike force coming to a scene, targetting the titans DDD, or taking our some dreadnaught turrets, or even a small fleet of interceptors taking out BS turrets and forcing it to leave.

There already are some "special" lasers for Amarr to use - mining lasers. Asteroids can't tank them at all.
