There was a bit of a surprise announcement during today's CSM. As many of you now know, Pann has moved on to a different company as their Community Manager. With that in mind, it's time for an introduction on my part.
My name is kieron and I am the new Community Manager for Eve Online. I've been in the MMOG industry for just over 6 years now, having started with Ultima Online in their CS and Event teams. I assisted with the formation of the Aurora Project through beta and just after release. I worked on the Event Moderator with Ultima before returning back to Eve and this position.
It's going to take me a couple of days to get my feet under me, but I think things will run smoothly.
I look forward to spending a lot of time on these forums. :)

I hope you really do become more active on these forums then your predecessor. There were alot of time's when a simple post or two could of help things so much but instead we heard nothing.

Although I'm saddened by the departure of Pann, I welcome you Kieron, be advised you have a rowdy bunch here to manage and a really really big shoes to fill.
You wouldn't be able to elaborate on what project/company Pann has moved on too?
And is she going to make an announcement? or at least a goodbye message?

30 people... I hope thats 30 programmers not 30 people at CCP. I would love to see the balance sheet of 30k players at $15 .. over 1mil a month.
