Edited by: Robeyone on 27/02/2004 05:18:43 Well sense this has gone on for so long I guess it wouldn't hurt to put in my two cents.
First on the original subject of this post I personally believe in the sanctity of the 1 on 1 battle and the word between fighters when engaging in such an act. It is the only 1 real way the game allows to settle things on the battlefield, as the mechanics don't allow for huge naval engagements and clash of the Titans.
On RONA-KIA, RONA, and RONA Technologies We don't believe in the actions of breaking ones word. But to say that we have control over the actions of other corporations is just absurd. One thing that kept the NVA down was a hugh amount of red tape and rules. Though we do have a closed regions and some policies in place, we don't want to control the actions of other corporations and their policies. Contrary to popular thought we as the PA discuss things weekly, and all the organizations and corporations involved in the PA are doing things on their own fee will. RONA, CDI, and Oberon do not control the PA and RONA only has 1 vote on the council.
Regarding Evolution My hats off to you guys. Though we all have our bag of tricks, you guys have proven that patience and timing is a very stong suit for you guys. Though your methods are frustrating, they are above all intellegent. Like the final days of the FE war, when RONA-KIA instituted hit and fade tactics, your methods provide kills and minimal losses. Though economically the war makes less sense for you and the numbers are ranging in terms of kills, I can say, with a very good degree of cetainty, that you are a very good opponent. I have learned a lot from fighting your corporation, and have gained a bit of respect for Evolution. On top of that your PR machine and forum presence is very impressive as well.
On the state of the PA The PA is alive and well, and the organization is still in place and we are still fully functional. In a time of war your manufacturing and your civilian population don't stay in a war zone, and if they do it is covert and quiet. The military is fine, and the resolve is there. The fight is frustrating, rewarding, and at times confusing given the opponent. But it is far from over. Though I wish that were not the case, and this war is ludicrous at best, Evolution and the PA remain at an impass. On top of that we are both very stubborn entities, with a very similar resolve.
All in all I do not agree with the "reasons" behind this fight. I don't agree with a lot of the statements being made by entities outside of these two organizations pretending to be "experts" on the political interworkings of these two entities and the conflict ensuing. Mainly, this will be resolved by Evolution and the PA, and I am sure bickering will continue. Your comments, though at times appreciated, will have no bearing on the state of the conflict and mean little if anything when it comes to the big picture.
On Jade C. Jade I know you felt hurt and burned by the fall of the NVA. I don't mind your views on the subject matter placed in here. I do humbly request that before making any statements about the political views of the PA or and it's Corporations, voting structures, or other policies that you check your reference and prove your sources. You have incorrect statements in many of the posts you have in here. And part of a good debate is having correct information and not a multitude of "fluffware". I would be happy to answer any questions you may have on the PA. I have before and would oblige anytime here after.
